Please add this as a new top helicopter for Germany
well we heard a while go they (gaijin devs) were working on a new top heli for germany, and the H-145M is in the files as an unfinished model, but its been years since both these news
The H-145 lied in files for 3 years, so nothing expected
I don’t really know new top helicopter for Germany, that can be better that this KHT
Unless the bundeswehr does the smart thing and converts all its pars 3 lr missiles to the pars 3 sal variant…
This wont be too much better.
(In real life)
And theyre already planning to phase it out)
I hope we get UHT non-PARS3 version (10.0 as tiger HAP and worse than hap because no guns and Mistral). Germany was extremely lack of helicopters in 9.x-10.X battles because there were hardly any attack aircraft available and ground forces were not very good. MI24P was almost completely unusable (they 100% encountered 10M2 type93 and more SAM and mi24p no irst) and bo105s 100% got too high br (AH1 in same br but got 20mm m197 8tow+38 rocket and smaller when 9.7 ah1 got thermal IRCM higher optics(very important) 8Xtow2-BGM71D (800 pen)
and ah-1s 9.3 ah-1q even 9.0 and lahatut got 4x bgm71d at 8.7
and bgm71d have IRCCM
so bo105cb2 should 8.7 (bo105 with hot1 should be 9.0 hot2 keep 9.3)
If this is truly a helicopter that can be distinguished from the one in game then I emphatically vote yes. German helicopter tree is already so small that they artificially increased it’s grind by adding the same helicopter twice without foldering it. Might as well give more incentive to reach the end of the tree and maybe then Gaijin will feel they can folder the BO 105’s as their grind requirements have been met.
they didnt even do that right.
they couldve made the second one the prototype Bo-105 PAH-1A2
but nooooooo
they wouldnt even give us any prototype systems such as the Stinger pods
or the MAWS/LWR sensor pod
I’d would prefer P-277:
Is there theme about?
Personally, I think Germany just needs more top tier vehicles. +1!
no not yet,
common understanding is that it was a flightless mockup/prototype.
its in my topics of interest tho so ill defo be looking into it
It will be good helicopter with some assumptions. Germany need it, because i think it will best that we can get…
i just found out some new things about Bo-105, maybe we can give it more weapons
Good thing :)
Ive been intruiged by something…
We all know this picture from Jenoptik’s presentation:
Now some say this is photoshopped. But something was bothering me. It is obvious that this is not a production series Tiger UHT, since it still is mounting the trials navFLIR under the nose.
As far as i am aware, there were 5 prototypes, PT1, PT2, PT3 (inc. PT3R), PT4, PT5 (inc. PT5R).
There were Tiger PIR and SIR (Primary and Secondary Integration Rigs) but i have reason to believe they were just grounded test benches.
PT2 and PT4 are not UHT standard so we can remove those from consideration.
PT1, PT3, PT5 remain.
PT1 (F-ZWWW) did not have the cut-out just below the rotors facing the front.
Hence it too is not the one shown in the picture at the top.
PT3 and PT5 remain.
Here is where things get interesting.
This is a Tiger’s Nose

Take a look at this lower panel highlighted in blue.

Now look at where the RMK-30 is placed in the presentation picture.
Thats a bit too exact to be a photoshop job. It is known that Germany wanted a mid-life upgrade for the Tiger which would have integrated the RMK-30 as is mentioned in many sources, not to mention the fact that the RMK-30 was made for the Tiger UHT.
My search is for finding this exact airframe and to move onwards to finding more information about this model.
What is confusing is this, the F-ZWWW and F-ZWWT prototypes. some sources indicate they are just other names for the PT1-5 series.
According to Janes, F-ZWWW is the PT1.
While this may be the case. Whats more might surprise you
Here is the F-ZWWT

but wait…
This is the F-ZWWT too???

then again, this is the F-ZWWT as well??

This shows that the prototypes and/or the production aircraft were configurable even across versions of the UHT/HAP/HAD.
Now i am writing this as i am researching and i just may have discovered the exact airframe that was used.
if you look carefully, there is an eye decal on the Tiger right in front of the front cockpit.

Here is the airframe that meets most of the characteristics of the one in the picture (comparison)
Now its not an image flip because the tail rotor, eurocopter logo and Osiris sight are flipped in a way that cannot be done digitally.
So these are not the same photo, but otherwise, the fuselage and markings of both these airframes seem to be an EXACT match.
ive found other pictures of it as well

Ive contacted Airbus and others to gather more information. For now, this is post#1
tiger firing HOT
Incredible research, hopefully this goes towards giving german helis more options for self defense 👍
I once found information about a turret (gun) for the Ger version of the Eurocopter a long time ago, but I doubt I’ll be able to find anything now.
The last thing I remember from that source, it said that the gun was abandoned due to the cost of equipping the production model
bro is doing proper detective work for a helicopter. what a time to be alive
