Tiger II (P) and (H)

It depends on the type of grass you’re talking about. Here is about yellowsish green.

Presumably someone has already mentioned it but here goes;

The correct top speeds for Tiger 2 with engines running at 2500 or 3000 rpm is as follows;

  1. 2500 rpm = 34.6 km/h
  2. 3000 rpm = 41.5 km/h

Both HL230 and Sla.16 Tiger 2s currently have too high a top speed, meaning the engines gain rpm too slowly and all of their gearing is stretched to cover too wide a range. To regain low and mid-speed mobility, they need to have their top speeds compressed down to a realistic level.

Thank god I have 105mm KTH and still I can enjoy the platform

Sadly the Ktiger 105 is nerfed too in this update.

100g tnt is more than enough to insta kill them

And it will gain some good penetration of 284mm/10m. And maybe the Filler type is wrong, as it retains the old PH-Salz, isntead of Np.10. But more info is needed for such.

it only gets 272mm pen (dev server as of now)

Yeah, but thats wrong and already reported, the weight is wrong, on the DEV it was 15,9kg, but should be 16,9 kg.

The terrible speed is what makes them killable. A speedy tiger 2 would be a.) unrealistic, and b.) unfair. Tigers could theoretically have a higher max speed, some could go above 40km/h. However, their speed was capped as extensive use at high speeds could cause the engine to erupt into flames. Remember, the german engines at the time were not built to handle massive weights. I think gaijin has it perfectly fine as it is right now

Gaijin can do that cuz the tiger 2 105 sorta kinda never existed. it’s not about historical acuuracy at this point, just making the game fair

And because it has the HL 234 which is a different new engine.

Isn’t it just a turbo charged HL 230?

Is it? Well a rework either way and then used by the french.

When you include the phrase “use at high speeds could cause the engine to erupt into flames” without a single shred of evidence I immediately disregard every single facet of correct or partially correct information you say. I then immediately tag any and all future posts as ignorant at best and downright spewing garbage at worse.

The reason the engines were governed was due to the lack of repair materials/parts to replace worn out parts from overuse resulting in breakdowns not because its going to spontaneously combust into a fireball.

Governing a engine extends service life its not to prevent fires.

The true reason for governed engines was to extent the service life of transmissions. Panthers and Tiger II alike. That was the main issue with these tanks.Burning engines not really, more of a urban myth.

But in that case a more powerful engine would have been completely useless, as the transmission wouldn’t be able to handle it.

But that wasn’t the case. As there were plans to adopt more powerful engines as soon as they became available.

Just glad the 6.7 punisher finally got put in it’s place.

The 6.7 punshier really didnt get put in its place, its winrates just suffer due to not being able to get to the points even slower… and unfortunately the overly slow jagdtiger caught a stray, it along with the Ferdinand could stand to get a reduction when facing 7.0 HEAT slingers…

The Jagdtiger? The Tiger 2 sure, the Jagdtiger?

The JT was just an innocent bystander, we all knew what needed neutering.
