I’m trying to assign everything to my throttle and joystick, I can’t
Not a single button, nothing. I want to play only sim battles ( aircraft)
Could anyone please help?

I have no issues with any other sims
Did you try premade setups for joystick?
I think there might be one, or at least took for any other, just to test is it working in wt

Tried now, with many different, no luck
I can only assign the ROLL, PITCH for the joystick and THROTTLE and pedals
That’s it.
I can’t assign not a single command for the joystick / throttle
Only for the keyboard.

I have DCS World, IL 2 Battle of Stalingrad, X-Plane 11 and 12, MSFS 2020
It’s so easy to assign everything, for those.

Maybe try to start new config
What do you mean with " new config " ??
Setup controls by youself, as i remember that there was an option for that
Not premade, but game will ask you about every axis and etc

No luck. I think it’s a bug, and I give up, after more than 10 years of playing War Thunder
I can’t even assign a single button to my joystick or throttle, no matter what settings I try. This issue started about last year or more, I’m not sure, and I played Arcade only.
Do you have maybe also a racingwheel connect to your pc? I had the same problem. I solved the problem that i disconnect usb devices from the pc (i have very much) and i have learnd Warthunder have a probleme with to mutch usb devices. I hope it will help you!

Everytime you play War Thunder, you need to unplug the wheel?

I unplugged the wheel, and tried again
Im able to assign everything but after I restart War Thunder, they remain assigned but not working, so I need to assign it again
There must be a conflict between War Thunder and some USB devices
yes when i play Warthunder i have to unplug the wheel then it works.
I think there is a problem with there system for controllerssetup
