gaijin giving it a questionable flight model for both versions, the 12.7 MiG-29 lacking R-73s and having a missile it cant use (R-27ER).
Competition at the same BR just being flat out better in every way: MiG-29SMT at the same BR as the J-11A, Su-30MK2 and Su-30MKK, 12.7 MiG-29 same BR as the F-16A belgian OCU, F-18C early, F-14A early. There are more but these are just the examples i could think of at the moment
Anything with a R-27ER is a monster, if you can’t get kills with thats an issue.
I wouldnt touch the 12.7 ones with 10ft pole, but thats probably due to me being president of R-60M haters club.
MiG-29G is sad considering Su-27 and more importantly Su-33 sits at the exact same BR.

naval Mig29K 9.41 are needed to counter f/a-18 and rafale carrier spam in sim.
i would also to add the older variant of the mig29K with only r77, possible 6 and not 8, but still get 8 total missile with r73. this one is single seat compare to the other one.
Mig29M 9.15 is a good early r77 capable. better option before having mig29 with r77-1
and the Mig35, one aesa other pesa. yes please and tank you gaijobless.

Nah. Having a grand total of 2 missiles that can do anything for you while those missiles aren’t auto-win buttons and can be countered means the plane is bad when you consider the rest of the plane ranges from bad to mid.
Doesn’t make up for the rest of the plane.

Mig 29(SMT) doesn’t seem to terrible from when i use it. Mainly remember going up against 18’s and 16’s but it can definitely dog fight those. (At least when turning off the aoa limiter thing)
I prefer not disabling the AOA limiter on the fulcrum, it has even less low speed control than the flankers
The 9.41 actually is a single seat plane but it uses the same canopy as the 2 seat 9.47 version, which imo doesn’t look too bad but I wish it had a dedicated single canopy version
