cant end up worse then either the nomad or elde

It was rejected with a borderline braindead justification.

"We can’t accept report based on guesses.

The given azimuth acceleration of 40°/s² already suggests a maximum traverse rate of at least 40°/s

No, physics doesn’t work that way.
For example, if the maximum speed is reached in half a second, then the maximum speed will be 20 degrees per second."

I wouldn’t be surprised if it was Trickzzter who rejected this built report

By his reasoning, if 0.5s is enough to hit top speed, then the Pantsir‑S1’s traverse acceleration would have to be 134°/s² – which is pure nonsense.

That would explain gaijin’s behaviour, evidently everyone working at gaijin have failed miserably at their schools

Say something we don’t know

Yeah.

It’s just disappointing to see the FK2000 shape up to be a nothingburger. Worse radar than CS/SA5 and Pantsir, no AHEAD, unusable turret traverse, apparently also worse missiles than the Pantsir, and it will probably end up at 12.3 because muh range.

can’t be better than russia after all. wouldn’t be surprised if it gets the vt5 treatment and gets moved 1 br higher.

The aiming system of the FK-2000 should not be restricted to the same 67° elevation angle as the launcher. In reality, the maximum angle of the gunner optics should be 80°.

Please take a look at this issue.

The specification sheet on the promotional brochure of the China National Precision Machinery Import and Export Corporation (CPMIEC) for the FK-2000 states that its azimuth angular acceleration is 40°/s² (specifically meaning that the rotational angular velocity increases by 40°/s every second). Based on this, we can proceed with calculations.

For azimuth rotation, if it continues to accelerate at a constant 40°/s², the shortest time to complete one full rotation (360°) is 4.2 seconds.
Starting from rest with constant 40°/s² acceleration, the maximum angular velocity at the end of one full rotation is calculated to be 169.7°/s, and the average angular velocity is approximately 84.9°/s.

For elevation, with an angular acceleration of 30°/s², the shortest time to elevate from 0° to the maximum elevation angle of 67° is about 2.1 seconds.
Starting from rest with constant 30°/s² acceleration from 0° to 67°, the instantaneous angular velocity at the peak is approximately 63.4°/s.

The above are calculated values. The in-game traverse and elevation slew rates are incorrect and should be corrected accordingly.

Acceleration is not infinite.
The system has a maximum rotation and elevation speed this acceleration is trying to reach.
Gaijin wants these max values.

…and one has to stop the movement again as well… ;-)

It should be equipped with 16 missiles.

Can’t we find the turret traverse by assuming the turret should be able to turn to target and shoot within 4 sec?

The elevation range of the FK-2000’s electro-optical sight is −5° to +80°. In the current game, however, the elevation is restricted to 67°. This issue report documents the discrepancy and proposes that the FK-2000’s sight be implemented in the same manner as those on the Chrysanthemum-S and Storm-S. That approach would indeed be appropriate.
