I changed it right after posting cause i forgot CS/SA was 30 mm.
But ye still I haven’t seen anything about fk2000 having ahead
its an ammunition, when the same gun is used they can use it as well

It needs a programmable fuze setter on the barrel to use programmable ammo like ahead, but if Gajin has made the desicion to say the gun is identical to the CS/SA then I guess we can try asking for ahead, I just haven’t heard any sources stating that the fk2000 can use it

its still crazy that in this game Saclos is the best kind of anti air lmao. i would genuinely play the tor at 12.3 over the piece of crap that is the claws.

I mean, since it’s a game there’s a lot of things that don’t make much sense if we compare it to irl…
Such as 9L/I bring better than 9M in air RB
Or Fox-1 being more dangerous than a Fox-3 in some scenarios

It’s not really realistic, laser irccm is supposed to deal with manpads that doesn’t have IOG / DL fallback when the sensor detects a abnormal heat signature.
In addition laser coverage is being worked on now, but the helis are not supposed to have a 360 coverage.
In addition the radar signature is lower than it should be.
Of course from a gameplay perspective it makes sense to buff the different kind of countermeasures, but they went to far with helis.
It’s not really fun to play a Spaa, but then see a helicopter destroy your team and not being able to do anything.
And when it comes to Claws i wouldn’t say it was that good against planes, only the Aim-9X seems to kill me.
( Sidenote: i hate the tor so much that i would rather play Losat for anti air )

i played it for a while on the dev server against jets and its absolutely horrible, the missile simply doesnt pull at all and can be easily evaded. its simply a worse pantsir s1, but that was obviously gonna be the case since gaijin will almost never allow a chinese counterpart to outperfom a russian vehicle

what jets did you put it up against?
f16s and su30s, its generally just harder to keep the missile on the target when compared to the pantsir. its also completely useless when the jet is around 3km while flying quickly because the turret drive speeds are horribly sluggish and the vertical limit is 67° so all they have to do is fly up a little bit and all you can do is j out because theres nothing else you can do at that point

Helis are miserable enough but if Gaijin tweaks radar parameters and LDIRCM limitations that “problem” will solve itself

Search Radar:
360 X 25
360 X 50
It currently only scans 25 degrees per full rotation, so it needs to do 2 sweeps to cover 360 x 50
Since Gaijin doesn’t want to give search radars TWS for SACLOS SPAAs
It can barely keep track of anything flying by
Just like the CS/SA suffering from the same bad coverage of elevation per rotation of the search radar.
Also even tho its not stated, the FK2000 search radar has NCTR unlike the Tracking and Search radar of the CS/SA

Not really though, as a whole saclos is the best, its slightly worse against Aircraft whilst not being useless against helis. There is no drbate saclos is the best type of anti air ingame. Every match requires both after all.
