Mirage outperformed MiG-21 as far as I know.
Wether the manual is as accurate as one would hope it to be is unknown also.

Mirage 3E is perfectly serviceable. You don’t want to get into a rate fight, but air RB has never been about rate fighting people.
Fuel normalized to 5.5 minutes of afterburner.
@MatrixRupture not a thread on the falklands, thanks for ruining the thread, mods might as well close it
Aim9l go brr. Mirage go woosh kaboom
I’m currently grinding, and I’m really looking forward to it
On the one hand the Mirage III’s are good as long as you keep your speed and energy cuz delta wing. The Swiss Mirages may be especially good due to having radar AAM’s as well as IR missiles
On the other hand the Draken does everything (except ground attack for the IIIE) the Mirage III’s can do but better even if the TT variant lacks CM
TL;DR: The Mirage III’s are fine for what they achieve to do
The aiefrsme was superior while Harrier had all the advantages.
Oops I did respond already.
A very nice french documentary on the mirage III, that includes some footage of the more experimental variants like the IIIV VTOL or the milan.
Mirage IIIC is very good aircraft tho it doesn’t have countermesures. however u can use rockets as flares in case u face an A-10 or smth.
haven’t played the Mirage IIIE yet but it’s probably the same thing with a way higher (and unjustified) BR + a garbage RWR.
both have horrible gameplay till u get the Magic 1s.
lmao our pilots were smarter than the RAF.
my beloved Argentina lost cuz not enough supplies + GB and their ofc superior weaponry, but argentinian pilots fought a lot and made the most insane things that not even a russian pilot would dare to try.
we didn’t have advanced weaponry, but we had braincells and tricky tricks to fool them and their trash systems.
RAF yes, but thankfully not the RN FAA :P
(well at least not NAS801)
not really, the english only had to destroy the radar in town which was well within their grasp OR down one of the only two c130 tankers operating during the conflict and were not able to do it due to the ingenuity of their crews… nor the raf, the rn faa, nor the nas801.
