This Is Outrageous, It Is Unfair!

Now that the Kfir C.10 B.60 is coming as an event vehicle, we can look at it and immediately get angry. How the hell does Gaijin think it’s going to perform in 13.0 with only four missiles? All other 13.0 planes have at least 6! It’s a damn 3.5 generation aircraft that’s going to fight damn Eurofighters with damn 4 missilesm while they have, like, 10???
We need decompression, and a lot of it. or else, give it more missiles or send it down to 12.7, where it would be powerful but not overpowered.
And also don’t forget the poor Kfir C.7 at 12.0. That thing should be 11.3 at it’s current state.

Pretty well most likely as it’s supersonic and can turn.

Insane thrust, great top speed, good radar
All you need for a ARH slinger
It can even compete in turnfights with gen 4s if you push it hard enough for a couple turns

Great off the mark thrust but is missing substantial amounts of its actual thrust above mach 0.7. @MatrixRupture estimated as much as half of its thrust at that speed is missing.

Sub sonic at a BR where near enough everything has been supersonic for two BR brackets

You are reliant on a poorly skilled opponent, a low altitude map as you’re a brick above 1000m alt and you need to know how to effectively VIFF to force overshoots and throw off radar tracking missiles.

you cant flare IR missiles as the harrier is far too hot in game, in reality all aspect missiles struggled to get a tone from the top of the aircraft quite often.

the harrier 1s flight model doesn’t even allow for all of its actual AOA, it should be close to how GR7 handles in WT.

Harriers only strategy is fly low and third party

Has 6 missiles.

if you want countermeasures only 4

Following this logic, the viggen with AMRAAMs should be 10.7.

This thing has HMD, a superb radar, and an exceptional RWR. As well as very good flight performance. Which the viggen most definitely does not. Also at 13.0.

Fewer if you want cannons + countermeasures.

two if you want good gunfire

Viggen is another upgraded 3rd gen aircraft, which has ARH and nice agility. But it has 2 more missiles…

The F-4C has 2 more missiles than the Viggen, 13.3 material now? Your logic does not track.

It’s about tradeoffs, you trade 2 missiles for a better RWR, Radar and mildly better FP. That’s balanced.

Except it is worse in agility than Kfir, has less agile IR missiles, a notably worse radar, and an RWR that doesn’t show much information compared to kfir showing the position of threats explicitly.

So 10.7 AMRAAMs following your logic.

im more angry that its an event vehicle, im hoping for Kfir 2000 in tech tree one day

I dont know much about its specs. But Supersonic, good agility, great radar, good RWR… Will be stronger than quite a few 13.0s

Imagine quoting Star Wars just to whinge like this

The Viggen was never my concern. I’m talking about F-15s, F-16s, Gripens, which have better FP AND more missiles and not a much worse set of avionics. Also, an uptier would cause the Kfir to meet Eurofighters and Rafales, and also F-15E, which all have same to better avionics, better FP and at least twice more missiles, which in the current state of air RB top tier, is vital to win.

Im talking about the Kfir not the Harrier

“My aircraft suffers in a full uptier!!!”
So does (almost) every single other aircraft. Why would the Kfir be any different.

It’s a whole different level of suffering. It’s being utterly inferior in every aspect, not even close to being competetive.

Not exceptional at all, actually avarage at 13.0

Problem: you also need more than 4 missiles, because short-range engagements do happen

But most of the time it won’t, and getting an ace/expert crew is damn hard when Israel starts at rank 4.
