Yeah happened to me too, that’s because when they added the mossies there was a limited time where you could still buy the A21A without the mossies, and at the end of that time it became required. It’s annoying but it’s how it is

That happened to me when they added that AMD car with the 50mm then I couldn’t get the puma
Imagine, when I quit WT many years ago it was because Gaijin added a ton of modules to vehicles I had already spaded…
…that needed to be researched and bought for SL…
…to get the full performance I already earned via long grind.

there was a warning in game that you would only have like a month after the update where you could get the a21a without getting the mosquitos, this is entirely on you mate

You get a 28? day grace period after they add new vehicles, Where you could skip said new vehicle, but after that, you have to operate as if it was like that from the start and purchase the new vehicle before being able to buy the one following

I understand that people got upset in the past, where these rearangements suddenly happend. But now they tell you and give you weeks to deal with the change.
Sure, they could also go by the rule: If you can buy it at any moment, you can buy it. But that wouldn’t be Gaijin.

They were always this way.
Hence you can have a vehicle fully researched yet be banned from buying it because they’ve decided to lengthen your grind.
They introduce deliberately OP, pay2win vehicles, and keep them like that for months and only nerf them once the novelty rubs off.
Meanwhile underperforming techtree vehicles often times never get balanced and stay in a hellhole forever, like half of Italian air tree.
Gaijin also basically ruined any kind of balance in WW2 BR brackets by making all 20mm HE cannon shells the hammers of gods, completely ignoring different shell designs or the fact incendiary keeps being useless. Did they rebalance aircraft once they turned “well armed” into “some of the worst armed” and vice versa?
Nope, Yak-3 sits at 4.0 and 4.3 like it always did despite going from “outgunned by Bf 109 F4 and Fw 190 A5” to “absolute gunboat of death”.
Whole point you seem to ignore is - Gaijin doesn’t care about the players, the enjoyment of the game, their achievements, being fair (hence you can ram teammates at will and oftentimes they will get punished for… teamkilling you if they explode when rammed, lol). They just destroy when they feel like it. And Gaijin has been doing this over, and over, and over and over again.

they didnt decide to lengthen your grind, they decided to add a new vehicle there, like where else are they supposed to put it, or are you saying gaijin should wait for you to finish getting that vehicle
its not that bad man, sure theres a few, and they stay that way because nobody plays them
they dont care about individuals players, of course they care about the playerbase as a whole and things that affect all of them but something that affects only 1 in 10000 people isnt a big deal
if they didnt we wouldnt get any br changes
brother you need to take everything gaijin does way less personally, its a game, theyre making a game theyre not politicians deciding the quality of your life

I think I knocked out all three Mossies in about a dozen games.
Da Snail stumbling over the slime trail of its own progression model is got to be one of the least annoying thing of all the annoying things they do.
