yeah there wasnt a lot around although i decided to take out my 11.3 lineup today and well yeah the type 90 is nice and all but type 89 is where its at

it just that people really making things that not really a problem
like Type 90 is not that good. it’s fine, not great not bad. but it somehow OP when facing undertier tank, like 90% of all vehicle will be at disadvantage on uptier. like c’mon.
At this point is more than evident the problem is not the vehicle. Like what the hell are you driving in the most obvious spot with not a single cover nearby?
Type 90 works like a light tank, rely on the firepower than in the armor, and if you’re going to pick this exact spot to later on complain about the vehicle you died for, is crazy.
It’s funny how the tanks that ruined 9.0 and above for so long are now experiencing the same uptiers.
10.0/10.3 premiums are a scourge in the game.
Type 90s are very strong but the DM-33 round can easilly penetrate them. You just have to know what you are facing and play more conservatively
The point is: I am sick of getting uptiered the whole time.
Why’re you driving away from the main point?
It’s a faster 2A4 with 4 second reload and a bit better shell, being 2 BRs higher is deserved.

Part of the problem here is that the challenger is so slow that by the time you accelerate and move up to crest a hill to fire back after the type 90 has fired, he’s already reloaded and firing at you again.

Type 90 has the worst armour of all the MBTs at its tier, you can center mass the thing. And its got the worst round.
Its reload is only 1 second shorter than an Abrams or a Leclerc, and is the only thing its got going for it over any other tank at the BR.
The click bait is a higher BR because the click bait is flat out better.
Its really not OP.

Japan having a tank, premium or not, that while isn’t modeled correctly still doesn’t entirely suck.

Everything at it’s BR can kill it, even frontally. Including autocannons. It’s a glorified light tank.

Wait a bit for the sale spam to calm down, then you’ll get fewer matches against Type 90s. This is just the usual bit of the year where everyone has just bought some stuff in the sales and is spamming it out until they get bored and move on to a different vehicle/lineup.

Good composite armor, I can pen it with the standard 35mm AA belt on the Gepard/Marksman system
(Keep in mind the T-80U is 11.3-11.7)

It’s 11.3 because of DM33 and reload.
Christian II is 10.7 because of DM23.
Type 90 is fine where it is.

It’s wouldn’t make much a difference as long as Abrams sucks at everything else. If crew skills were removed then it would be abit more useful.

Or we can stop being silly and accept that reload speed is very powerful and plays an important role in war thunder, especially at top tier where the game plays faster and you will often be engaging multiple enemies in rapid succession or whenever first shots don’t kill, etc.
Reload is incredibly powerful.
