No, I’m not, but you are the issue here, I mean your play style. You could have a point of a badly armored MBT being “OP”, which isn’t, but after showing that image of you driving in the open, it was more than enough to know that the issue here isn’t the Type 90.
Come on now the M1 reload buff makes them pretty scary to try and peak and get shots off.
To say it’s made no difference is wild.

Give it a better round and put it at 12.0.
4 second reload on a vehicle that can outmaneuver most MBT’s even at 12.0 is extreme.
I’m tired of seeing entire teams get eaten alive at 10.3 by one or two of these on their own. It’s silly.

As mentioned before this is what happens with uptiers! Did you guys at 10.0-10.3 complain when you were murdering 9.0 tanks that coudnt pen your armour?

What exactly is a Challenger Mk.2 going to do against a Type 90? What about a T-72B? These vehicles do not deserve this abuse. It’s utterly ridiculous.
The Type 90 is a better vehicle than the best Ariete and it sits 0.7 Batte Ratings lower.
Just once, realize how stupid this is. It’s insanity to pretend this isn’t a problem.

CR1 Mk2 has L23A1 you can deal with both tanks, yes CR1 isnt a great tank.
It’s been a problem for years as the saying goes the only way to avoid uptiers is to play top tier.
The Challenger is literally fine at 10.3/10.7, it’s got great armor, a decent shell and a 5 second reload. Perhaps you aren’t playing it right, since it’s a hull down sniper like the Chieftain Mk 10
Type 89 where it was at before they nerfed it, and again and again and again and again.
What do french autoloaders have to do with this? They’re at a BR with widly different playstyles, metas, and enemy types. Almost all high tier tank fights are decided with the first shot. It’s not like that at 8.0.
Not to mention, the french autoloaders have a 10s+ avantage against alot of tanks. That means firing thrice for every shot of the enemy. Abrams has 1 second, sometimes 2 second advantage, and it isn’t even the fastest at its BR.
It literally is not. 3BM42, DM23/33, and all the most common shells found at that BR rip right through its cheeks and front plate. Even worse, it’s agonizingly slow.
I’ve played a shit ton of tech trees. I have 5 of them at top tier, in fact. I am more that qualified to tell you that 9.7+ is a shitshow that needs adjusted and decompressed.

The Challenger DS is my most played vehicle, and I am top tier in 6 countries, including Britain which was my first top tier nation.
The Challenger Mk.2 is a solid 10.3 vehicle and its BR is deserved. It has the best firepower at its tier as well as decent mobility and good armor. The breech weakspot is tiny and hard to hit. The only common round you run into that can pen you in the cheek is 3BM42, DM23 struggles to pen, without even turret flicking.
On paper. The Shell struggles with Leopard 2A4 mantlets in-game unlike 3BM42 and DM23/33.
If you’ve played it enough, which I know you have, you’d have realized by now that its armor is less effective than the Leopard 2A4 on average despite being significantly slower. The Armor of the Challenger Mk.2 and Mk.3 is inconsistent as seen by it showing probable penetration on the turret. It’s hit or miss. The fact that it can penetrate at all is an RNG death I don’t like. And those are the weaker shells of that BR. If we look at the stronger ones, it’s no contest.
The armor isn’t that great for your mobility and the shell is hardly better on paper than 3BM42, which performs significantly better in actual matches despite the stat cards showing the opposite.

It can still penetrate your cheek at times. The Challenger’s armor is inconsistent, and it pops like a Russian tank when struck internally.
The issue is Sweden (and a few other nations) not having any MBTs better 10.7 and 12.0 meaning when 10.7s are uptiered they don’t have any vehicles on their own team actually at tier.

I got the M1 KVT, it’s 100% uptiers to at least 11.3 and there are a ton of Fuji’s, the anemic round in the M1 can’t reliably pen the type 90, it definitely would be fine at 11.7, 490mm pen is basically like having 600mm pen, it will either pen or it won’t at this br.

As for the best 120mm L/44 round in game being at 11.7, you can thank USA mains.
M774 can pen pretty easily if you know where to shoot. There’s a reason the Type 90 is two BRs higher than the M1.
As I said before, at 490mm pen it really doesn’t matter after that point what you can and can’t pen, M774 has a TINY amount that it can reliably pen on the type 90, also when fighting one you don’t have time to locate a tiny area that you can pen when they can pen you basically anywhere and do it again in 4 seconds. There is absolutely no reason this tank shouldn’t be 11.7 especially when you compare it to other 11.3/11.7 tanks.
