Can’t wait for the crying

why did you reply with an entire general lee video about a well known fact? did I say something related to his entire video or is their a specific portion you want me to look at lol.

god his videos are always actually interesting to watch even rewatching it doesn’t ruin them, either way yeah as he said they probably shouldn’t be but as it stands in game they are worse, which is why I said

were in need of a fix/buff.

Not really, I think the AIM-120D’s are too strong for right now, but the mics exists to. All exist to make players suffer more, so, no.

I’m very much doubt they will add the f22 without HMD I know it just got the scorpion HMD irl but I definitely don’t see gaijin adding the f22 without HMD. Plus when the add 5th gen they are also adding missiles like 9x and irst so gimbal ASEA won’t be needed that much for dogfighting.

yeah Alvis pointed this out a few weeks back, they essentially have the rule that if it is tested or on a relevant variant it will be added i.e. the rafale and a few others.

So even if they do split it into the F22A early and a later upgraded one that carries the JATM 260 and has all the life extensions being implemented right now similar to how they will most likely introduce the Rafale fr4 with the meteors or MICA NG while the EFTS get Meteors added to their new late EFT’s both variants should have the HMD.

Probably could have worded that more concisely but you probably get the point

If I sounded greedy even though I don’t think I was then I apologize, I just started this topic since I wanted to discuss about some potential solutions to USA top tier air’s curb stomping by the Russians, French, and Chinese to which everyone has said the solution is to either Buff all the AMRAAMS for all users, BVR changes, and rework on seekers + multipath.

However at the current moment in time it is very unlikely that Gaijin will implement any of these changes cause they hate us so much and only care about money and greedy like all the big + rich gaming companies.

But in fact, the AIM-120D has no increase in total impulse. This means even if added to the game, its changes would likely only extend guidance time from 60 seconds (120A/B) to 120 seconds (120C), possibly even reaching 180 seconds. In other words, its threat lies more in making your RWR buzz like a persistent fly until you’re forced to abandon your aircraft out of sheer frustration.

Maneuverability should be better IIRC. The RWR ping isn’t going to make me eject.

It appears the AIM-120D still uses the same airframe as the AIM-120C, yet the 120C’s performance in-game is notably poor.

Well F-22 is being upgraded with HMD. Though i doubt it that any active F-22A in service will get it before 5th gen are added to game

Never used the C-5’s, but I have used R-77’s and they’re horrid. The R-77-1’s are good but they only compare to the AIM-120 because they can shoot at range and don’t bleed speed. The Mica-EM are yet again the most broken thing in game.

Honestly. They just need to action the reports for the A/B, let alone those for C5s and we’ll be fine.

C5s should be more than enough for the current map sizes

C5s are fine, but need a bit of hand holding. Lots of speed, ideally nice and high & aligned onto the target, but they do struggle in the aggressive WVR environment that ARB usually ends up being .

But loads of reports need fixing

In terms of enemy It will only make Eurofighter and gripen stronger however at least US would be on par with Russia

well, it will
and US is already heavily outclassed by them

will they get ability to launch best sarh and track from notch? they wouldnt.
and well, so far you wouldnt really change gameplay - it still lacks place for proper BVR, even strongest seeker on mica can be easily fooled

The C-5 sacrifices considerable close-range overload and acceleration, gaining only about 3% speed increase at most. Its sole range enhancement comes from the 120-second guidance time—meaning it merely stays aloft longer rather than achieving extended range through velocity. The R-77-1, on the other hand, possesses a much higher total impulse, enabling it to compete with the 120 series.

However, based on what I know, in reality, the R-77-1’s range is comparable to the 120 series, but in the game, the R-77-1 clearly has a longer range. In fact, the R-77-1 feels more like a “Gaijin-style balancing tool”—allowing bulky airframes like the Su-30 to hold their own in combat against energy monsters such as the F-15 or Typhoon.
