They created the opposite problem with bombers

They really went way too far with this update.

Bombers have become impossible to destroy. While I agreed that they used to be far too fragile, the situation is now the exact opposite—we’ve just swapped one problem for another. They need to roll this back and find a compromise.

It’s not right to pump 400 rounds of 20mm or even 10 rounds of 45mm into a B-17 or PB4Y only to score a few hits or start a fire that goes out two minutes later, whereas a single burst from that same bomber’s machine gun instantly sets you on fire or snaps your wing off. Either they revert the changes, or they buff fighter aircraft too, because bombers have clearly become a massive pain to deal with.

They went too far; you can’t even shoot them down when attacking in a group, and they just camp until the match ends—it’s unbearable. Alternatively, they could nerf their armament, make their gunners much less accurate, and increase fighter durability. The problem is the lack of nuance; they swung from one extreme to the other.

While that extreme might not be so bad in Simulator mode—given the flight times and distances involved—it’s unmanageable in Realistic Battles, and a solution needs to be found.

I should clarify that I am very much in favor of this bomber buff; the problem is simply that they went way too far and created the opposite issue, without actually making the attackers any more resilient… or perhaps they simply made them far too tough overall.
