According to the official technical documentation, its search radar uses a C-band radar, yet it is currently placed within the G-band.
In fact, the latest IEEE classification shows an overlap between the C and G bands. The C band covers 4-8 GHz, whereas the G band, according to NATO’s electronic warfare system range, is 4-6 GHz. In the new IEEE version, it is defined as 110-300 GHz, but it is rarely used for military purposes and is mainly intended for astronomical applications. This means that even when adopting EU and American standards, it should still be classified as the C band rather than the G band.
