The F101C is a good delusion meter, having people say “it’s the American MiG19” despite the fact the f101c is at a clear disadvantage even against worse aircraft like the F100D. It gets out fought by the F104, and has very little ammo (200 rounds per gun) which such ammo happens to deal little to no damage as per lately with the current state of M39/T160 cannons.
The yak130 is just a worse La-15 and has a horrid AOA mode that negates all the rudder and aileron authority to be invested onto the elevator which completely throws you off where you may need it the most. Both 130 and 101 have nonsensical flap restrictions and too little ammo. The 130’s guns do way more damage in a single hit than a 101c’s one second burst mass on a target but why would that matter? The 130’s gun points down a couple degrees making it very hard to aim in stall fights. What puzzles me the most is what people say about these things. What people say to not get laughed at for having a different opinion is worrying even if the majority of the opinion is just wrong.
