The War Thunder Roadmap for Spring to Summer 2024

I’m just hoping it was passed around the office before being not approved.
Proper formatting is also linebreaks, lists & such.
Not jumping through hoops that only serve as post discouragement on an already moderated forum to filter out shitposts, that’s just censorship.

While the words I used might not have been the perfect ones, there was nothing wrong with the message & any my opinions were clearly stated.

After having found several errors, I think that gaijin should also add the review and correct the 3D models of planes and tanks, since there are quite a few cases in which errors are seen in the 3D models in the form of black areas, such as the caps that the panther G has in its ass. There is also another mistake in the Ta-152 H, where the radiator is located, the 3D model is completely undone.
Simply the 3D models of the game are falling apart, and apparently the devs either don’t realize it, or don’t want to realize it, after all that doesn’t make money.

I really hope Bonuses for Research Points on new Nations finally come in the second Major Update the Grind is SO loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong -.-

I loved everything listed, but then I realized I didn’t see any mention suggestions which some Top-Tier air players mentioned: player count, map sizes, etc. I know this wasn’t an exhaustive list so I’m still optimistic.

It was even mentioned by a Gaijin staffer how lower player counts brought more dynamic gameplay to Air RB. :)

The thing is though they never stated what that number was.

Basically you forgot some points from this roadmap.
Here is the list which missed, will put the game into the next level:

Quality of gameplay:
-Improved spawn protection: do not allow planes to damage and destroy ground units which stand on spawn points(with main gun , rocket or bomb).
-On spawn point allow to repair our ground units and replenish ammo.

Quality of economy:

Quality of maps update:
-Remove every piece of trench from Flanders bottom side of map are unwalkable and force players to attack only in small places.

-Restore old map concepts! why? all current concept fit for 3 pattern:

  1. -front line: massacre in mid and limited flank opportunity.(like north Holland) and restricted areas on maps which not allow us to flank enemy
  2. -Hill land where half of tanks are useless thanks to bad gun depression
  3. -lowland where everyone camping.

Moreover not just boring every map thanks to same pattern, they are destroyed in current state which most case provide more 0 or 1 death quit. Basically force players to rush instead of use tactics and skill. Not to talk the oldschool TD (like SU-85,Stug ) useless. And i m not satisfied. As a veteran player who play with warthunder since 2014, and when i realized the mass map destruction which happend since 2022-2023 i sad really. Why happend? I not know that why needed(the map construction update). Because if happend when want to improve spawn protection, it happend the opposite. 75% of maps which got an update more opened the spawns or hard to leave it safety. Thats the experience. If nobody tested it or how accepted the changes without someone checked it or idk what happend . So please do not hide behind the following statement: maps got and update because improved the spawn protection, because thats NOT TRUE.

Quality of interface:
-On conquest game mode i better prefer the following one HUD on PC instead of current mobil game style one. Here is an example:

Man, I keep coming back to that “Separate Battle Ratings for different game modes” point in my head.

I think it has seriously big implications for “meta” of each game mode and is easily the biggest point in entire roadmap. I mean, I know it probably will be slow process and devs will be conservative with changes, but still.
