well i understand we want it modeled as close to rl as possible, but it would be a nice stop gap until the game develops more to include the fire after launch.
Just give it the mmW fire and forget mode and be done with it. The only difference is smoke breaking the lock. It will only make a difference less than 5% of the time. Vast majority of the time you only find out you have been locked by a Spike or Kh38 after it hits you.
Obviously dont add the salvo mode where the missiles find their own targets.

Britain players have wanted 114Ls and Brimstones for a very long time now, because we wanted our FnF capabilities that make our CAS better and helicopters viable; but instead we get an ahistorical implementation on the grounds of not wanting to make an ahistorical weapon.
The simplest solution was always going to be to just not implement the LOAL and keep the FnF capabilities because there are already ordnance in the game that do this.
Every single point you guys have brought up about the missile has been refuted. All your reasons feel disingenuous or in bad faith.

I thought this game was dedicated to realism? These mfs be asking for over a million sources to buff anything western and then you guys just go “nuh uh” when something western is obviously op.
I don’t care about gameplay or balance anymore, balance is already non existent in this game. It’s either historical or simply shouldn’t be added to this circus. Brimstone isn’t a hellfire, you are pretty much just adding a Tornado which carries Hellfires, why call it a Brimstone at all?
You wouldn’t have added the Ka-50 if you were dedicated to balance you gaslighters.
Instead of this you should add things like regenerative steering, you know, fix the fundamentals before creating more problems.

He’s legit lying about you because he knows you’ve blocked him, calling you “proud for blocking brimstone missile and tornado defending brit tree players” when I haven’t seen you do anything of the sort in the discussions he’s referencing (and I’ve seen them!).
I’m almost certain his entire account is made to lie and cause outrage purely for his entertainment and never once for actual discussion. I will be blocking him too and I’m sure he will lie about my reasoning to others who won’t see this message, but it just has to be done.

I respect them and don’t mean to ever insult them but earlier in the forum when I frontally consulted Smin, I was annoyed that the other new “Firebirds” are getting loads of new capable weapons and the Tornado gets a slightly more advanced Hellfire and Paveway.
I am happy the Grom-1 was removed though
