Introduction:

Spoiler

This tech tree covers every technicals I could find (excluding some duplicate and vehicles that are similar to each other), without restrictions on nation.

Note: I avoided vehicles from Ukraine since someone will probably make a comprehensive tech tree which may include those technicals in the future, and I don’t want this to conflict with those.

A vehicle will be added if:

  • It has to be a field modification or some sort of barnyard design.
  • No purpose-built technicals, none of that clean stuff; we prefer DIY.
  • There will be exceptions if I find the vehicles funny or interesting enough.
  • Vehicles should not belong to any nation that already exists in War Thunder.
  • Last and very improtant: the vehicles must look somewhat jank.

Category:

Branch 1: Autocannon Technicals, which should also be seen as the light tank/SPAA line. This won’t completely replace the SPAA line but is for vehicles that can do a decent job against ground targets too.

Branch 2: Technicals equipped with normal cannons.

Branch 3: The TD line, which includes ATGMs, rockets, and howitzer technicals. It may also include vehicles deemed too funny to be in Branch 2.

Branch 4: SPAA line, mostly for vehicles that i think are only good for anti-air.

Incorrect.

This is a Ukranian Humvee with an MLRS Tube-.Russian was modified onto the back, which was converted into a flatbed. Which by definition would still be considered technical as the vehicle sure was military built was not designed nor intended to house any sort of system of this sort.

These two point aren’t necessary. There are many proper military vehicles that dont have enclosed hull or all around armor.

yea that infographic is a placeholder i found on reddit, was gonna write something there but i forgor and went to bed instead. Lemme remove it real quick.

Yes you’d be surprised how many military vehicles became technicals later on in their own life.
