Once I had a post about Boxer 3105 MGS and how it was the worst event vehicle made to the make, but now my opinion completely shifted. I didn’t bothered obtaining the vehicle nor playing at its battle rating range for sake of a good matchmaking. I can’t unsee T-72B3A (Arena-E) being moved to battle rating 11.3 but for now with the countless cases of complains from the users with the fact that is has worse armor and engine, hard to say with certain that this battle rating change will happen soon. Yet despite the active protection system (Arena-E) being more useful than the Shtora-1, T-90A is better in every single way except gun handling, while the tech tree variant is superior (rightfully so).

I directly skipped those tanks due to having both Al-Khalid and MBT2000.
They are basically 99-II with less armor but much better mobility which makes them fit much better in current meta.

Because no armor and 7 second reload speed. If this tank been 5 second reload time it can be 10.3 br like cv90105.
I’m the opposite man, dropped the MBT 2000 out the lineup after I got the 2nd ZTZ 99 and never looked back, just cannot make them work for me at all.
Mobility is really important for me hence why I don’t like 99-I/II due to bad reverse speed.
The only exception tank that is in that category is the T-90M for me.
It’s also the only one that could occasionally take a dart to the idle wheel and not goes boom lol his frens are bmpt and leopard 2a7.

it completely defeats atgm reliant vehicles lol if it was more realistic it would also intercept nearby ally missile passing by however its not the case
Yeah I know, its why a lot of people overlook or avoid them.
Personally I do significantly better with them than the MBT2000, maybe due to the methodic way they need to be used.
The ztz96B i also prefer over the mbt 2000, though i tend to find myself over extended due to it’s excessive mobility.
I’m planning to buy that beast soon( despite having Al-Khalid and Chinese tree already), that thing will complete my 11.7 line-up pretty nice.

By the looks of it its armor is much better than MBT-2000 due to better ERA coverage.
It also has LWS which pretty nice bonus but has worse reverse speed compare to Al-Khalid and MBT-2000 but i guess overall mobility is better.
6.7 sec reload is also pretty nice compare to 7.0 second.
My line-up is pretty much complete on 11.7 actually, it based on:
- Al-Khalid
-MBT-2000
-HQ-17
-JH7A
-Z10
-VT-5
With 96B it will be complete.

it has a better reload, has LWS, also has IR tracking man, good proxy round which can also nuke tanks.
the armour seems better but trust me either it’s not working right or I’ve had some pretty poor gaijin moments were I get nuked.
I usually do fairly okay with the chinese MBTs as well so think I’m about a 1.0 KD with it.
Do remember it still is a 10.3 tank hull suped up, so it’s still got some areas which are questionable, or should say, I’ve had some areas which some questionable shots have gotten through.
See I swapped out the MBT 2000s for the ZTZ99 II and III cause I find them extremely fun to use and work at 11.7 just as well.
So yeah I need the VT5 and mine is complete bar the Z10 :( , Personally though I use the JH7A for CAS and the J7E for CAP as it’s super sneaky for the BR bracket and is properly nice to fly.
I’d highly recommend it man, it’s mobility is absolutely ridiculous.
Most likely its on par with WZ1001 by the looks of it.

better, I tend to get myself faster than theWZ1001, that’s actually for me a problem with the ZTZ 96B xd I always end up over extended and out of position for the reload.
the 1001 isn’t as fast either 75 kmph max speed VS 78, I’ve rarely hit the 75 on my 1001, but the 96B I’ve hit the 78 a few rimes, which also turns off the stab xD
I’ve near got the 99A then I am moving onto finishing the SPAA and helis with the ground forces

Interesting. My 1001 regularly hits it top speed on most terrain.
I started to grind 99A again after I got my M1A2T couple days ago but honestly 99A doesn’t interest me too much.
Sure you have better reload than 1001 but in return its slower, has less penetration and doesnt have 14.5mm hmg which is quite useful against lightly armored vehicles.
After I’m done with 99A I will go back to grind ZBD04A as its the only line-up left for me on entire Chinese tree.

is the 99A not 12.3 though as well?

personally for me I prefer my VT4A1 over the 1001, like i don’t think I’ll use the 99A much, I usually spawn, VT4A1, VT4 , 1001 then a 99 II or III, but now I have the 96B so I use that before the 99 II.
The ZBD04A is really nice for it’s BR tbh man, i need to crew the damn AFT09 as well,.
though for the 8.7 / 9.0 area I really, really like my ZTZ 88A or B whatever one has the longer cannon, type 69 G II , object 120, PTZ89 or whatever the 5 second auto loading 120mm is. Combined with some fun cas.
Like the little helicopter which is moving to 9.0
Mine is 150 level expert crew, that maybe the reason.
I already bought three tone CARC market place camo for that beast, soon I will start spading it.
I also personally prefer VT4 series but recently I swapped my regular VT4 with WZ1001 due to armor protection.
Regular VT4 doesnt even get access to FY-4 ERA which makes it more weak against top tier shells, plus WZ1001 has much better reverse speed tho VT4’s has spall liner advantage (WZ and 99A should also get it but you know gaijin).

Standard MBTs without APS manage just fine, you don’t need to kneecap yourself with a gimped T-72B3 which is much worse in every other situation.
