The Premium f-18 has a missile worse then the SU-33 and it also much slower. I believe the Mig-23ML is at 11.7 and it pretty fine.

No. That’s not how notching works
You are going to have to practice a lot. It took me so long that I grinded 3 top-tier aircraft to get how to notch. This video specifically helped me alot so I hope it helps you.

i’m going to respond to this MiG-23ML video, no you don’t use it like that, you are to use it’s R-24Rs and control the skies first before switching to IRST and descending on the red berries, and if you get a downtier of any sorts in that thing it will be a blood bath since below 11.7 not many things can detect it’s radar, including itself funnily enough, so you go up to 6k up to redline at 1.7km/per hour and launch your R-24Rs roughly 20k out on a closing target

Well i techically don’t have an 11.0 jet since i basically never grinded the air tree until the B-29
even when uptiered there are things that can’t detect it on rwr (MiG-29)
then im confused as to how you can determine Su-33 would be fine at 12.0/12.3 if you havent played any other aircraft at that BR range.
and probably haven’t even encountered a MICA carrier in air rb
Well first, i’m not grinding for 50 years for a single jet i wont use, secondly my bank account is a desert.
that might be the reason for not having jet at that BR range, but does not explain how can you determine what appropriate BR for Su-33 would be.
If I have a nickel for every time someone says the Su-33 (strongest 13.0 jet) somehow needs to be reduced in BR I’d have 4 nickels, which is a bit too many nickels.
