This aircraft is in a matchmaking environment where it’s very easy to encounter lower-tier opponents, and what are those opponents using? The AIM-7 series—they don’t even have helmet-mounted sight targeting (HMS PD). In dogfighting range, our Su-30MKK players just need to use this feature of their plane to lock on and fire a PL-12, while we, who rely on missiles that require continuous radar guidance from the aircraft, have much more to consider. If this plane continues to stay at a matchmaking weight of 13.3, our game planners will soon realize that air combat vehicle packs from other countries in the 12.3–13.0 range won’t sell anymore.

the sad truth is that players have been saying this ever since the Mkk got added to the dev server, but in classic gaijin fashion, they ignored feedback

You’re not wrong. In this version, the developers only saw players’ dissatisfaction with the BMPT, but didn’t see players’ dissatisfaction with the two Su-30 bundles.
Yup plane needs nerfed or its br to 14. When they sell enough units then they gona nerf it. And ppl still say this game is not pay2win.
When they make enough money, they will do a balance adjustment.

12.7-13.7 i think is the most compressed br, and there is CF188 which is a worst F18 which still sells, albeit 4* times less
