The Strv 122's commander cupola flap is annoying and unrealistic

We all know about he annoying flap thing above the commander cupola present on all of the 122s.

In real life, they never roll them up like this. It should actually rest on this small part of the turret that I have marked.

And when the tank is on the move and it suddenly begins to rain, the commander can close and flatten the cupola flap to prevent water from flooding in while still maintaining an unobstructed view, as seen in the pictures below.

And if they dont close it they still roll it up much flatter then gajijn have modeld it in game.

I know this is a pretty small thing, but it has blocked enemies for me a lot of times, especially in simulator battles. It’s almost like it’s a soft nerf, to be honest. It’s extremely annoying when you’re driving uphill because the flap blocks about 50% of the view.

If this is annoying imagine you lose your commander in the PLZ83 and need to use the binoculars, the MG blocks the entire view.

I’ve heard about this issue, and even though I have yet to unlock or play an Strv 122, just hearing and seeing images of the issue upsets me. A CITV is a very important tool in top tier, and having its effectiveness hindered in an unrealistic way is upsetting to me.

As something to think about, hmm? How about Strv122s find something like this in their commanders view. Object 640 Black Eagle Tank | Former Russian Prototype tank?

I think it might be a bit more interesting.

one reason that make PLSS better than this one
