The standards to revise M1A2 SEPv3's armor NEED to be revised and calibrated

I know it’s selective realism, because it would’ve been so easy to copy and paste the damage model, as they made it for the M1A1 and the M1A2 SepV2 with Trophy. The M1A2, the SEP, the M1A1 AIM and normal SepV2 would’ve been a breeze to fix, but no.

If they add that “but each tank is very different, believe us!!!”; we can pull the uno reverse they pulled on us all these years, as “they’re all the same”. Unless… they managed to get their hands on classified Abrams docs (not the Swedish Test Trials) with specifications for armor, while they lowball it as always with approximations saying they didn’t use classified info.

Instead of the volumetrics not being on any other M1’s makes me think that this might have not been a bug, but a feature. A feature they specifically implemented to make the players buy the new vehicles because they’re the “improved versions” while leaving the others in the dust till the next major, or next 2 majors…

id hate for this to be true

I’m expecting it any time now, either by not saying anything and time passing till the next updates, or for them to come out with some lies like i said above: "they’re very different from each other, we couldn’t do them all in such short time!!!

yeah i just don’t get why they cant put the new armor and internals as place holders until they can get to it

Exactly why i believe it might be what i said.

With them you clearly can’t know, they aren’t transparent enough, very careless and extremely lazy in a lot of ways.

What’s more frustrating is that they made the M1A1 being the Frankenstein of these experiments, so… yeah.

Oh yeah they are far from flawless. I put problems in “” because I meant things that directly affected my gameplay.

I haven’t really touched the SEPv1/SEPv2 a lot after the update since I’m trying to get the new Abrams spaded and the SEPv3 well on it’s way to ace crew before the new SQB season (finally free from 2A7 jail I hope).

I’ve neglected my U.S tree ever since the V1 came out. I’ve been working on spading it while researching the V2. The change from having M829 to M829A2 as the stock round has been a large improvement.

Its basically like Merkavas, top tier round right out of the dealership lol spading these vehicles will be a lot easier than before, the sweden leopard gets them too.

According to this M1A1 / IPM1 - Turret Frontal Armour Incorrect // Gaijin.net // Issues, the turret armor was correct. Instead of nerfing the armor on both the turret and the hull, they should have nerfed only the hull armor…

Yeah, now I just need to stop being a bonehead and get my stats up in the Aim and SEP V1.

Getting the KD up on Abrams is surprisingly easy. The easiest method play a little passive especially hull down, kill 2-3 then only decide if you want to risk it by doing objectives. AIM probably the best one at 12.0 due to the superior FCS, you see much better and aim much easier than all the 12.0s. My AIM at one point was closing 5.0kd I believe before the bmpt onslaught and it got dropped back to 4.4.

Yeah my lineup will be a little more nice to play once I have the SEP V2 to compliment my other SEP at 12.7.

Now the only headache is once I got the abrams throphy and v3 I am not entirely sure if I should get rid of the IPM1 because its the only one that could shoot smoke shells. Literally having problem of too many Abrams and not enough slots lol

How can they keep hiding behind the duplicate tag when said duplicate is 3 years old and they haven’t done anything while instead making it weaker, this is actually so low

How much you wanna bet gaijin is gonna end up adding a SEPV4 as an excuse for another copypaste abrams with nothing new

We’re also still missing the x25 and x50 zoom for all the SEPs. Maybe one day Gaijin will add more than 2 variable zoom level before we die of old age. x25 would be amazing on Kursk for the 2000m+ shots.

Gaijing only models optical zoom not digital, abrams can only get those magnifications using digital zoom, plenty of tanks can get high digital zoom

Which they should model really.
