People complain about SEPv3 not getting LWS and Trophy, but honestly, it’s for the best.
If they did that, we would have run out of additions for the top entirely. This would be the end of the line.
However, by keeping them as separate variants, there’s still room for lineup growth. Imagine;
M1A2 SEPv3 (Trophy)
M1A2 SEPv3 (ROSY)
M1A2 SEPv3 (the one we just got)
3x SEPv3s is better than just 1x… specially if they ever give SEPv3 its proper hull armor!

prob would be just the trophy with a mod being the rosy or lws since that’s the sensible way to do it

Someone should make a forum page just for Abrams info so that bug reports on incorrect armor values are easier to file
Still improved turret armor and potential hull armor in the future.
And even with the underperforming hull, SEPv3’s turret armor improvements are QUITE substantial, actually; specially the sides, which I did not expect Gaijin to actually model.
Thanks to the side armor improvements, SEPv3’s turret is COMPLETELY IMMUNE even to L/55 DM53 on a full 25º arc, while all other Abrams tanks get their sides sliced through in the same conditions and even their cheeks become vulnerable when the front slope is negated.
I would rather have three SEPv3s, no matter how small the differences, than just 1; from a lineup perspective.

isn’t it quite obvious they don’t want to give it proper hull armor? but yes that makes sense, i guess they could possibly release some documents for the newer abrams’s armor in the future, but that’ll take a year or 2 minimum sadly. those damn muricans just have to keep it a secret…
Maybe I didn’t do enough research but the SEPV2 got ROSY + LWS because it was fitted on a testbed M1A2 SEP but AFAIK the SEPv4 was never was planned to get ROSY and since the SEPv3 is getting upgrades from the SEPv4 it likely wouldn’t get ROSY
it wont get rosy but it will still get the lws attachment

they said there are more versions of the sepv3 so the lws will be added to a later model sepv3 at some point in game “There are various versions of this tank. This is not an error.,” is what it says there
figured since the new round the sep v3 got is just the prototype variant the final product of the round can act as 3 different types of ammunition so its alright to assume we will get one with aps and lws with its in service round the final version of it should perform as m908 m830 m830a1 and m1028 but the later has no use unless they add it specifically for infantry mode rn it only acts as a he pf which it should act more like heat-fs that can be programmed to act as the other rounds
yea i hope to see the AMP round soon it’d be nice for lightly armored vehicles or even planes or heli’s as it was designed for

Smoke grenades is incredibly useful for a br with ridiculous CAS spam, combined with LWS you can continue to pop smoke and escape death. My Merkavas 4M is probably the one that rarely dies to CAS because it has infinite smoke grenades, APS and LWS. Not only that you don’t die to them often, you also wastes their ammo so someone else don’t have to take it.

I can see possibly one more SEPV3 with trophy but I think the end all be all will end up being the SEPV4 or Abrams X (Maybe even both lol).I do think Gaijin will start adding cancelled variants and tech demonstrators since we’re at the end of the line for production variants
They can also backfill with the M1A1 FEP, it could be slightly unique compared to the SEPs since the Marine Corps did adopt DM11 (MK324)

Tech demonstrators are definitely coming in the future, unless militaries start pumping out new hardware. Only issue is many of the playable nations don’t have that many tech demonstrators that could be implemented towards the upper tiers.

Abrams X in silent mode would just be a nightmare. You’d only hear tracks rolling up on you.
