Has anyone made a bug report for this? when you switch to the MG on the sepv2 trophy (50cal or 7.62) you get STUCK on those 2 and aren’t able to switch back to the main cannon, had to j out because of it.
I do not understand why on earth the M1A1 got the hull increase, like how badly implemented this patch is.
i noticed this ojn the dev and just assumed it was already reported did no one do it lol
It got volumetric hull, better side skirts, better mantlet and better LFP (probably wrong).
It was surely a test bed for a plethora of changes.
This update in general feels half-assed. Should have been delayed another week.
checked the bug reports, nobody has reported it yet. hopefully someone does because i sure won’t, too lazy to do the devs work
my only assumption is that they made the m1a1 have the hull and special skirts/turret so they could direct copy paste the new code to the m1a2sepv3 after they added the volumetric to the trophy but when doing so screwed something up.
Hence why only then new two Abrams got it and the m1a1 and they weren’t able to either fix it or return it to old stats and give the volumetric to the rest of the seps without either breaking something or running out of time.
Either way its hilarious to me because this is essentially I think the 5th or 6th update in a row were they majorly rushed the update, and had to remove key features of vehicles or screwed something key up, remember missiles last year lol, its like that set off the worst gaijin update timeline.
Sounded like someone couldn’t handle extra 40GB memory of worthless features.
i have a crap ton of assessments and irl work to get through over the next two days but by Friday or saturday night and there isnt a full fledged report i put in a detailed one,( hopefully i don’t have to lol.)
Guys Im slightly behind. They said the sep v3 hull armor would be increased. What did they change to it? And why tf did only the M1A1 get Volumetric???
yeah i did the same after the December update seeing them massacre the f18e and pobit on release as well as the amraams severely pissed me off to the point where when i did come back ive become a ground player primarily at the moment lmao.
okay so the m1a1, the m1a2v2 trophy and sepv3 all got volumetric.
also they increased the armour by like 40mm making it like 410mm i believe lmao, not enough to block any stock ke rounds it primarily faces.
however for some reason the m1a1 has all the stats as the m1a2v3 so is currently the best abrams in game minus the round which to be fair m29a3 seems to not have working anti era code right now
If you guys were hoping that the new volumetric turret neck is going to make you invincible against autocannons, you’re going to be disappointed it seems… NATO 30mm APFSDS can still struggle a little as it’s still a small spot on the turret ting, but anything above that can reliably go through sadly.

So as of now the M1A1 should be a monster because its lighter and practically the same armor but a whole br lower
yes theres very specific angles but with the 30mm Russian autocannon dispersion nerf and how spall it is it essentially is in game practice i have been taking all bmpt shots in the m1a1 since other than small spots the entire front half of the abrams cant be penned by the 30mm apds.
yep with the exchange of 2nd gen thermals and commander sight. but yes poor 10.7 cant even upper front plate you because there at the br where the pathetic hull upgrade can essentially nullify there best ke rounds i.e t80ud
here’s a shot that didn’t even pen my lfp earlier.
again the hull buff is only good on the m1a1 because it can face 10.7-11.0 tanks the hull buff on the actual purposeful tank it was added to is frkn useless.
plus they made the bulk heads worse despit them having a 3 year old report which is accepted which says it should be to essentially 25mm layers next to each other and not one 9mm piece of metal.
It’s only good against Russian 30mm and anything worse or equivalent to it sadly. :(
Seems like they need to increase module health across the board, crazy how little spall it takes to turn modules red or black them out.
