i think if u have more that one coating,u can choose not to choose the standard painting to use the other painting u already have.i think this is the way to reflrct true CUSTOMIZATION.

This 100%, the standard camo on some tanks is just completely outmatched by the unlocked, and not being able to remove it from automatic selection sucks, especially when the standard is considered woodland but you have a much better one that you have to manually choose and then forget about and take that woodland to a winter map.
To sum it up: just let us remove standard camos from autoselection

I must be missing something, I thought you could ecclude any camo from auto select including standard camo.
I played Berlin yesterday, and the game picked the standard camo for my tank, but I chose desert camo, and I think that the desert camo blends with the terrain much better than standard.
the dicker max and the sturer emil “tiger” camo work better than the standard gray camo on both forest and desert conditions

We should be able to choose which camo comes for which map type
Yes perhaps desert suits Berlin, but bi-colour camo for russia would be too bright, perhaps french bi-colour (green-brown) would be better, but that’s “forest”.
My only complaint is that when I manually change the camo when spawning in the game, it then stays that way, instead of reverting to auto.
Sometimes I play unusual camos just because I have premium camos, so I don’t always mind having a desert camo on a snow map ;)
Absolutely, I bought the snow camo for the leopard 2, yet every snow map the default camo is automatically chosen.
