In the late 1940s, Bofors created an experimental 120 mm naval gun, and mounted it on a tank chassis. The SAV 20.12.48 never went into mass production, but you can try it out in War Thunder! It’s a fast and maneuverable vehicle with an unexpectedly high rate of fire, reloading in just 1.2 seconds!
I would but I wanna change my squadron and that’s super expensive for no damn reason! Changing the name and tag of my squadron should be 1000 ge max! Not the same price it costed to make the squadron!
This thing is highly problematic not just because it’s insanely OP (it is) but pay2winners also cover it in pay2win bushes. My bush collection is way smaller and took me years to get, last bush I got was the size of a goddamn umbrella, so my tank is clearly visible, while pay2winner’s SAV can as well be a T-34 or just a piece of foliage.
So that thing can sit in the open, basically invisible to most players and it’ll be in a firing position waaay before anyone else.
Puma armed with HE has some chances, if it stops to wobble before it gets roflslapped by 120mm APHE.
If only the player bushes on vehicles would look totally different to map foliage… Oh wait,they already do. The tanks with bushes stand out more than tank with no bushes hiding behind one
Surely a green blob on a background of green or among the green trees/bushes stands out more than a tank shaped object everybody and their mother is looking for.
Even though my own bush setup has nothing on pay2win bushes, it made the game a lot easier to play. People take way longer to spot me and fail to hit my weakspots/identify my tank.
SAV benefits a lot since it can just park in the open way before anyone even expects to see a tank. And no movement and no tank shape means it’ll go unnoticed till it’s way too late.
P2W? Its 500 GE or something,i have bushes for years at this point. If you are too poor to even spend 2€ for bushes in game you have thousands of battles in then i dont know. You can just sell one event vehicle and buy all the bushes you ever want.
Oh no,five out of six bushes and you clearly see tracks,gun and half of the tank.
LOL I’d have no idea what exactly this tank is, and at distance I’d have a huge issue spotting it, especially if the view was partially obstructed. 500 GE is a price of a single bush. And one can’t buy multiple of one type, and I think in the past one could just buy best bush x5.
BTW your bush setup is pretty damn abysmal, if you’re trying to prove a point, first place bushes in an effective fashion. It’s way more important to hide upper corners than LFP, especially on a vehicle with what, 10 degrees gun depression?
Point is - even my poor man’s bush setup made me A LOT more effective. People fail to spot me a lot more often. If I had more bushes, I bet my K/D and KPB would go further up almost immediately.
