Could they do something with the multipath resitance on these AAs not just specifically on the SAMP/T? Because right now if someone is multipathing, you cannot touch them. That’s just outrageous because there’s no reason to have these AA systems if you cannot kill anything. I don’t know if the speed has to do anything with that but I shot some missiles at the same time as a buk next to me and when my missile started slowing down, his started accelerating which is funny since the Aster 30 is supposed to have a longer range. Also the plus booster on the back of the missile drops way too early in my opinion although I don’t know how it’s supposed to work but I heard that the booster is supposed to drop when it is nearby a target.

ASTER multipare capabilities IRL are know, to be under 4m over the sea. However, Multipath is a global balanced value for all radar missiles. We will have to wait for devs to make a decision on that, but don’t expect anything soon

This report for CAMM is similar to the problems right ? So there could be one similar for Aster.

Since BukM3 is also active, they’ll probably tweak multipathing and proxy height which should benefit SAMP/T
Although its 45kg TNTeq might be enough to leave the mechanic as is…

A report could be made for the ASTER (and MICA) family. We just didn’t do it yet cause we were told that it would go nowhere. But yeah its similar to this report
Mine report is also more of a wishing try than anything. but if by some miracle it goes through, it would be fun.

I guess it helps that mica vl on ship is a thing to have the report passed.
Not necessarily, most Multipath sources actually come from the ASTER but since they share most of the seeker’s tech, it also applies to the MICA
