I guess its too superior for the next patch. Dunno about the quality of that leak, but It would even surpass Patriots and most russian systems which aren’t even ingame.
Leak is trustable. SAMP/T is 99% sure to come in game. Now the question is how
SAMP/T would be limited by the ARABEL radar that has 70km max range and 35km detection range against fighters. Also Patriot can hold 16 missiles of the same capabilities than the ASTER 30 B1 (The MIM104F PAC3 MSE) per launcher so… NO SAMP/T wouldn’t be that OP either also the system that would equal patriot(Equipped with MIM104F PAC 3 MSE) would rather be the SAMP/T NG that is to be delivered to the army this year and as enough data is known about its radar the GroundFire 300 from Thales and its missiles the ASTER 30 B1 NT it could be added in game quite soon. OR at least suggested anyway.
M903 Launcher can only use 12 PAC-3 MSE per launcher, PAC-3 CRI (16 per Launcher) is not compareable with ASTER 30 B1 and I am not sure whether PAC-3 MSE would even have the range of the ASTER 30.
Afaik PAC 3 MSE is claimed to have a 120km max range. Also after searching deeper PAC3 MSE seems to be equipable only per 8 but as i didn’t see 12 I can’t disprove its exitence either. But Overall Patriot with MIM 104 MSE would rival SAMP/T but maybe with a better radar.
Also on a second thought in game for balancing purpose SAMP/T NG could be using Aster 30B1 in a first instance that’d be enough for the game.
It will be covered in my (german) PAC-3 suggestion anyway but;
Wouldn’t this one have like 150km range and other improvements most Nations would not be able to keep up with?

If you give it B1NT : Yes in horizontal range. But if you nerf it by only giving it B1 it should be on par with other systems. And since i suppose France won’t just throw their ASTER 30 B1 stock for fun it’ll probably be able to be opperated by GroundFire 300 which would have a 300km range coverage. All in all SAMP/T is okay but still superior in current META because the missile has range but is limited by radar. SAMP/T NG with only GroundFire 300 and ASTER 30B1 would unlock ASTER 30 B1 true capabilities that are 20km vertical range and 100-120 km horizontal range.

I think it’s worth a report just because we do have accurate infos on it (applies to both ASTER and MICA as well since they have extremely similar seekers), but this Is unlikely to be implemented

If i remember well smin said ~ that multipath was not something they would tune for each missile individually by how they consider that mechanic and apply it overall.
I think it’ll be a real disadvantage if the ASTER (and CAMM) are affected by MP, also very ironic as both are first and primarily designed for maritime interceptions, but I also don’t see them making an exception for these missiles.
Not entirely sure why we are on ASTER-30 though seems like a lot though based on where we are.

i honestly feel like they will make it easy to notch/mp these missiles.

ARH are already easy to dodge without chaff, the max range will be like -20% or more against maneuvering targets.

Multipath is the same for every missile so 60m
As for the notch, if gaijin goes the easy route, they’ll just give it a MICA seeker, since the 2 seekers are very linked (Aster 30 seeker is basically an enlarged AD4A, which is MICA’s seeker)
While the 100km may seem scary, the effective range will be far lower (maybe around 30km max)
