The response for `127.0.0.1:8111/map_obj.json` in the WebUI is empty

I recently used the WebUI at 127.0.0.1:8111 after a while and noticed that units and bases are not appearing on the browser map. Upon investigation, it seems the response for map_obj.json is empty, indicating that the game itself is not outputting this information.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

It appears they have implemented an authentication system where the game fails to respond to certain WebUI requests unless you access the game via the WT Assistant mobile app.
