Keeping it short, i would want to start a petition to either remove or make the new shilka with no radar a folder vehicle. I see it as an useless addition to the already bloated russian spaa lineup and just adds to the very long dreadful grind. In addition to that, i would want the usa, japanese and french spaa line-up to get a few more spaa as there are huge gaps. (yes im a russian main)

The truth is that the ZSU-23-4M2 is a very special vehicle, since it is a version that was made exclusively to fight the Afghans in the mountainous areas, and it is not designed to fight planes. Instead, they would have added the ZSU-23-4V1, which is a version with a better radar than the one that is now in Br8.0, apart from a better engine and other changes, being the most common version of the Shilka.
Changing the subject, the Israeli and Hungarian ZSU-23-4 should be replaced by the V1 version, since it would sink and the Arab countries never had the initial version of the Shilka, another historical mistake for War Thunder.
I mean thats mostly what i want, since its such ann useless addition that nobody asked for.
People have been asking for the zsu-23-4m2 for years.

No… Just no… It’s by no means useless, it’s extremely effective at its BR and below and fills a gap in the tech tree so every BR bracket has capable Spaa, more nations need this approach.
