you can always shoot some off early in the match, especially with the new radar, but you can’t just make them appear out of thin air.

this means you can still have 2~4 ARH missile to shoot people with when other jets(rafale, EFT, F-15s) have ran out and either have to fight you with IR only or have to land, which is a notable advantage in my book.

also, ETs are very good at shooting down rafales that try to notch it.

ETs are trivial to flare in side aspect.

If it’s such a concern. They can nerf the su-27 platform by force modelling the ecm pod without functionality in the wing tips

i think ur talking about the R-77M. thats the one which has a second booster for the later stage of the flight trajectory
