I get it, the Pantisrs powerful, but you can’t ride it as your #1 complaint for “what’s the point”.
Many other SPAA carry more than enough missles to deal with HARMS and if you look at what the average plane can carry when it comes to HARMS, you’d realize it wouldn’t make a difference.

I have to keep reminding people that a Patriot wouldn’t do much good against any helicopter wiwth FNF or IR munitions.
The Pantsir being a Shorad will natrually be more effective at dealing with saturation attacks than an IRIST, NASAMS, or just about anything else, since their primary goal is to get the target before it even gets within range, which WarThunders gameplay doesn’t allow, putting them at a disadvantage.
On the contrary - I didn’t say anything about it missing. No SAM has a 100% hit rate. Patriot, Sky Sabre, Pantsir, S400, whatever.
Pantsir was touted as one of the ultimate Air Defence Weapons - able to counter Stealth, able to tackle Cruise Missiles, able to tackle UAVs - pretty much the perfect short-range / point-defence solution for anyone who worried about some pesky Western Air Force whacking them in future.
Then reality happened, with real missiles and real aircraft and cardboard drones that just don’t give off the signals that Pantsir is looking for. We got treated to all kinds of comedy weapons malfunctions - as I listed above. Patriots miss - I don’t think anyone has ever claimed they don’t - but that ‘failure mode’ is just that. Missing. They don’t hit the refineries they are defending for example…
That it is happening in the age of the internet where it gets filmed and beamed across the web before they’ve even put the fires out is unfortunate for the Russian Arms Industry. Unfortunate for them, and anyone who bought the thing thinking it was equal to the marketing blurb (Iraq binning their fleet for S. Korean replacements after the frankly atrocious performance in the Middle East).
Meanwhile - not a shocking surprise to those who were somewhat cynical about the latest Russian Wunderwaffe.
TLDR - You can quibble about other systems - but we’re talking about Pantsir here, not Patriot. Neither is perfect - but one is in War Thunder and is plainly broken compared to it’s peers in other tech trees.

Have you tried not flying straight in a predictable pattern? Just saying, maybe you will yield better results if you peak over the mountains in that map
I can tell you SM-SV has made even flying low or far useless, I simply am tired of not playing russia at top tier in order to do anything but play tanks in GRB unless I’m russia. It should not be “flying straight in” we all know even if I didn’t it doesn’t matter with the SM-SV I will be honest I play a lot of top tier and simply gave up when I saw this BS was already waiting after my SPAA launchers had NO spawn protection simply because it’s not the radar.
EDIT: I can show you several clips if you’d like where I kill non SM-SV even panstir with CAS but the SM-SV specifically has made anything not russian CAS unplayable. If you want I will gladly DM you my CAS kills from the last 5 games if need be.
