The Panther KF51!

Definitely not in the foreseeable future, since if it is added it would be along others such as abramsX, t14 and such. maybe leopard 2a7 sidegrades or the leopard 2a8

I agree with this. the t14 likely will not be able to perform as good as NATO modern MBT’s. i mean, the t90M’s and T80BVM’s are only playable because NATO is stripped of its anti ERA rounds while the russians get their modern rounds

Sweden (excluding the Gryffon) is absolute shit in air, Russia is good though. Ground, is a bit of a different story, they (Swedish) trade off the long gun of the 2A6 for more armor and slight lower mobility with a better FCS. America would be the most competitive if their players weren’t ________

That want my point, but okay.

The T-90M and T-80BVM would be almost entirely unaffected by NATO’s anti-ERA rounds (literally 2 APFSDS rods designed for this), because they have already moved past the previous generation of ERA that was countered by such.

Russia gets the most modern rounds?
3BM59 when?
3BK29 when?
3BK31 when?
3OF82 when?

3BM59 and some others use the 2A46M-5 if im not wrong? i’m not sure if there is a huge difference but the t90m uses 2A46M. But by all means, i wouldn’t mind all nations getting modern rounds (although some nations might be severely disadvantaged)

i might be talking out of my ass here btw

It probably still is yea.
The Armata MIGHT have good enough hull armor to defend against the current top 120mm KE, but the turret probably isn’t even 30mm proof afaik.

Is strikeshield the same APS that the KF41 uses?

Because in that case it won’t really help in game.

Seeing as it only adds like 10-20mm of pen in game, I’m suprised it isn’t in game already lol.

Pretty sure that the rounds with anti era capabilities that we have in game are not advertised to be able to defeat those armor arrays with relikt era, just Kontakt-5, thats why m829a4 is a thing.

it kinda looks like a leopard so maybe just maybe might come in after the leopard in tech tree thingy in the vrry distant future maybe idk

By the looks of it i would be surprised if it resists 25 mm apds, the armata in game would be a breech repairing simulator

there is different lvls of the strikeshield aps
but yeah thats mostly a gajin issue with not being able to make APS work in general

They have fourth-generation ERA? Because afaik M829A3/4 and DM53/63 go through third-generqation ERA already.

It is better and by far)

prove it, i am more aware of the KF51 capabiltiies then you are
i am gonna bet on that

Both the 2A46M-5 and 2A46M-4 are capable of firing it, so the T-72B3, T-90M, T-80BVM, and T-90A would be able to receive it.

The T-90M uses the 2A46M-5-02. The T-90A and T-72B3 UBH use the 2A46M-5-01, while the 2011 variant of the T-72B3 (stock) uses the base 2A46M-5.

It would be great to see, but I feel more vehicle variation is needed first. America has NO M1A1 variants, Russia lacks T-72s such as the T-72BA, T-72B2, T-72BM2, and so on.
The T-80s can easily be decondensed into subvariants, making them far better.

You’re good, there’s a lot to talk on and I don’t expect everybody to know everything.

Which is relevant in what way? The 2S38 and AGS have paper thin turret armor, but that’s a pretty useless factor in a crewless turret, isn’t it?

M829A3 and DM53/63 were designed to counter 4S22, not the 4S23 found on the T-72B2 (and beyond) and T-80BVM

M829A4 having the same penetrator does little to help, and seeing as Kaktus has its modularity in the form of additional armor over top of Relikt… It’s quite effective armor.

1st gen is K-1 and K-3, primarily 4S20 and 4S20U.
2nd gen is K-5 and Kaktus prototypes, being 4S22 and 4S24.
3rd gen is Relikt and Kaktus, being 4S23 and 4S24U.
4th gen is Monolith and other similar multi-hit reactive armor elements.

Current US ammunition is designed to defeat Gen 2, with Germany using the same segmented tip on their penetrators that are largely ineffective against Relikt.

Why not? Germany has leopard 2s going everywhere else.
