The only kinda-competitive Me-262 now without tracers

Me-262 A1/U4, 50mm armed, fast but fairly clumsy jet, received an “upgrade”.
The upgrade basically changed the 50mm Air Belt into stealth belt.
Cool, right?
Wrong.
With low ROF, high muzzle velocity and UNUSUALLY (for Germany) good ballistics, the gun requires really careful aiming.
Good luck adjusting your aim with stealth.

Now, there are other belts, right?
Yeah, there are - default belt, which is 1/3rd APHE, which can and will fly through enemy plane without dealing serious damage on numerous occasions.

I don’t understand this decision by Gaijin.
The plane wasn’t popular in Air RB, wasn’t doing particularly great, and only select few players could make it work.
Now it will become even more niche.

Is it really THAT difficult to just make HEFI-HEIT 50/50 belt?

Furthermore, there absolutely existed 50mm M-geschoss with tracer. 335g of HTA + 12g of PETN (or 350g of HTA, depending on the source)

So why not just, you know, make air targets belt out of tracer shells, and stealth belt out of non-tracer shells? It can’t be that difficult, right?

Edit: The HE shell that currently has tracer, IRL did not have one. Even better.

I assumed this was deliberate action to non-directly nerf the plane. But it’s just Gaijin randomly making mistakes.

OK, it seems nobody gives a damn about this plane getting ruined.
Everyone is too busy spamming missiles at top tier.
“Red square” at the last 10m of the game has been broken for at least 5 years (I can’t tell when it was introduced, but it was broken from day 1), and I’m the only person who actually made a thread about it, twice, both times it got ignored, because 99% of the community basically never reaches the 15m mark. That’s the state of this forum.

Well its not directly about the plane but rather that on one hand there are, as you already mentioned, too few players left to actually comprehend the game mechanics or even real world circumstances. On the other hand you have constant “pressuring” of GJ to get into toptier e.g. tons of toptier premiums.

Not to mention the hatred of the community for anything german. When the 50mm 262 is considered OP and 70 rds MK103 HVAP F8 or 150-200 rds for the HS-129 are considered good CAS I probably dont have to tell you more about the state of the forum or its players?

In short yes players do care but they also know that its an uphill fight with a 250kg ironball strapped to your ankle. Just look at the reports about the PARS 3 with its screwed up targeting. Not to mention some report mods closing bugreports because “not a bug”. Not to mention the formular nerf that magically only targetted german plane cannons and buffed every other nation.
