In terms of rewards these have been the worst set of loot boxes I’ve taken part in so far.
Not sure if the odds have changed but it’s noticeably worse all round compared to previous boxes for me this time around

Seeing all the discussion here about duplicates and suggested changes to avoid getting duplicates gave me an idea.
I have not thought about it for more than like 2 minutes so take it with a grain of salt :P
What if duplicates turned into “pieces” (think puzzle piece visually) instead of SL?
So duplicate vehicles turned into “vehicle pieces” , duplicate decorations turned into “decoration pieces” and so on. You could get different amount of “pieces” depending on either marketplace value or alternatively based on the odds to get that specific item.
Then you would be able to trade in those pieces at a 5x (or 10x or something) rate for a non-duplicate (but perhaps still random?) item of the same kind. So if you get 5 (or whichever number Gaijin chooses) duplicate vehicles then you can trade in those 5 pieces for one random non-duplicate vehicle.
The trade in amount could perhaps also be a lower amount but only valid for that specific crate, or a larger amount with no time limit.
I have no idea if my idea is good or not, it just sounded sort of fair at first thought.

Will I like the idea the % chance of getting a vehicle is already incredibly low and majority of players probably get 1 to 2 vehicles per SL box event and it could take months upon months for them to get a vehicle they don’t have through that system. Say you’ve gambled 20m got one duplicate no other vehicle you gamble on the next set get nothing etc it could end up being a rather lengthy process. I feel like 2 would be a reasonable amount rather than 5 or 10 as the chance of dropping a vehicle is already very low.
lt would make sense if it meant you could target a specific vehicle. 2 for random vehicle 4 for random vehicle within corresponding type ground, air etc or 8 for specific vehicle. They also need to carry over between SL box events no expiring etc.
Maybe instead of one box they could SL boxes that say cost 100k but contain only ground vehicle or air vehicles etc. so you get your normal 60k box for the event but alongside that if you’d rather target ground vehicles you can buy a 100k box that has lower odds for a vehicle overall but higher odds of it being a grind vehicle. Also in turn increases your chances for a duplicate at the same time due to there being a smaller selection of vehicles.
Duplicate coupons is my absolute biggest gripe though being on console as we cannot do anything of value with them. I currently have 3 coupons I can’t do anything with rotting in my inventory. I don’t know why we can’t shred them for vouchers like we can with the vehicle coupons we get from the camo boxes.
