For a very long time now console users have been getting the shaft from gaijin when it comes to getting duplicate coupons for vehicles you already own. The option they give us is “warbonds” which is generally useless if you want to make any use of those warbonds you have to slave away for days and days to get something meaningful.
So when the silver lion gambling boxes come around the console userbase always calls out this issue of duplicate coupons on console feeling like a kick in the teeth yet gaijin don’t listen and have never given us a answer to as why they can’t make a better solution for us.
I assume this similar issue also affects PC users in regions where they also cannot access marketplace to sell coupons.
I feel like for console users and those on PC who don’t have market access deserve a better system that allows them to do something more meaningful with these coupons.
Ideas for potential solutions to this problem:
-
Allow us to trade in these coupons for a random vehicle we do not own from prior events/battle passes etc that way even if we end up with a vehicle we do not want still it’s no longer a duplicate and we got something new
-
A option like we currently have for camo boxes where we can break down the coupon for vouchers which let’s open more camo boxes which gives us potential for cool camos or even vehicles.
-
Create a console specific market that run on golden eagles. Other games on console that have player driven markets run this way. Gaijin isn’t losing out players are still spending money on GE to acquire event vehicles from other players. But I doubt they consider this due to them not being allowed to use GJN coin.
-
Give the coupons away to friends but I know something like this could resort to people doing RMT which is something gaijin would completely avoid facilitating.
-
Give the people who have duplicate vehicle coupons a GE value equivalent to market value to trade them in for and then from that point forward completely eliminate coupons being available for console players from silver boxes in the future.
It’s something over the years console players have been getting increasingly frustrated about there is a lot of us who have vehicles that have been in our inventories for years that we can’t do anything with. Especially when we see what we could of got for them if we was allowed market access.
Does any of this sound reasonable and if you have better ideas drop them below.
