Will there be no improvements to damage modelling to prop aircraft? . .
like better/proper hit detection? . . … asking for a friend . . . ☻
F-15E RMP at 14.3 huh? That’d be DOA. Why no F-15EX ?
Likely a model error, since the tail number is the Strike eagle one
Edit: Maybe it’s getting a new radar without having an extra 400k rp cost? I’d hope so
Neat.
Now update SIM so that its not older than half the playerbase and we are jolly.
I’m happy if they add the fuel gauge back to the HUD on the helicopters…
Any hope for making the targeting screens useable from the cockpit MFD’s? Would be great for these screens to be useable instead of just there for looks.
Just checked in game that xray looks to be just the normal F-15E for USA we already have
Very much looking forward at those changes - especially as I have already reported missing/wrong MFD implementation and HUD symbolism.
That said, often discussed issues that especially Sim pilots struggle with are the following things, that I hope are taken into consideration when those MFD changes were developped:
-
MFD views often inconsistent with the view of the respective sensors ( TGP / FLIR / TV inconsistencies between views // Gaijin.net // Issues)
-
Sensors & Weapons are not controllable in 3D cockpit view, so having those informations/views on MFD’s is for a relatively large part only cosmetic
-
MFD’s are very incomplete and inconsistent between types, a lot of pages are missing, or implemented wrong, or even placed wrong in the sense of pages/information not shown on the right display (I hope that patch tackles especially also that) ( [Dev] Missing pages on MFD’s (F/A-18, all variants) // Gaijin.net // Issues)
-
With 2, 3 notable exceptions (Su-30’s, F/A-180s and I think also A-10’s), not a single modern aicraft has a HUD with working flight path marker / velocity vector)
-
Quite a few aircraft still today lack proper HUD/sight symbolism for CCRP (or analogous) use, lacking any indication for sim pilots to use this release mode in Sim. Noteworthy examples are almost all F-4 variants, F-105, A-4’s).
So, again, very much looking forward to test those new MFD improvements!!! = )
Guys thats the APG82 , apg 70 looks diff, maybe we actually got the f15e RMP or maybe even the f15 EX
look at da radar, the one in the devblog seems to be a fixed plate AESA

thats an apg70 currently on the in game f15e

thats an apg82 on the f15e RMP and f15EX or other Advanced eagle variants
the radar seems to be modeled as a apg82 in this post
Does the RMP get extra amraams? or just the EX
Can the cameras be operated in pilot cockpit view or do they still need to be used in their own special view?
From what i know , RMP means radar modernization program so i dont think so , but even with a radar upgrade alone that would be good
with the Flight path vector, we’ve been complaining for the past 3 years as well.

Hey Stona, is this it for the day?
I think it is X-ray of f15c ge with more details
thats a single seater the one in the devblog is a twinseater
Look more careful its an f15e from the game with an apg82, yes the apg63v3 present on the f15ge does have the same antenna as apg82 but this one is a twin seater
