The new R400 seems to be incorrectly named

The R400 coming in the next fast and dangerous effect sounds like a great vehicle, but when you search it up on google the only results you get are misc. objects, this is likely because the correct name seems vary between TH400, H400, and HT400, when searching this, you DO get the 6x6 vehicle, im not sure if the R would be used for the production model, but i think this was a oversight

TH400(6X6):

A prototype of this vehicle has been built and tested armed with a 105 mm gun mounted in a three-man powered turret firing a full range of NATO ammunition including APFSDS. Heavier turrets mounting the Rheinmetall 120 mm smoothbore can also be fitted. Typical roles envisioned are armoured reconnaissance, medium weapons carrier, heavy weapons carrier, fire support (AFSV), anti-tank and anti-aircraft using both gun and missile. Independent suspension using the double trailing arms with a central tire-pressure at each wheel allows the ground pressure at each wheel to be varied while on the move giving high cross-country speed. The powerpack is modularly mounted at the rear of the hull allowing for quick maintenance and replacement. The drive train is installed inside the vehicle for added crew protection. The combat weight is more than twice that of the TH200 at 24,500 kg due to the addition of the 105 mm gun turret and larger 435 hp engine which limits it fording at 1.2 m thereby losing the flexibility of heli-portability and amphibious movement.

The original TH400 prototype is currently owned by the History Survives Foundation in 't Harde, the Netherlands.[3]

Someone sent some further references in the event-announcement thread, it seems that the sight used is AOZ 2000, which was fitted/shown on the vehicle at Eurosatory 2000.
At which point Thyssen Henschel was already aquired by Rheinmetall DeTec and the vehicle renamed to “H 400” (H refering to HENSCHEL Wehrtechnik, a subdivision of Thyssen Henschel)

At some point later, the HENSCHEL Wehrtechnik subdivision was disbanded and the vehicle renamed to R 400 at some point in 2001 (Not quite sure what the R refers to, ig it’s either Radpanzer or Rheinmetall)

There were some changes made to the suspension of the vehicle when it was renamed to R400, but I cant recall what was changed exactly, nor whether these changes are represented in game.

I plan on bug-reporting the name later today, but if gaijin decides that they want it to be the 2001 version, after the name-change, then R400 is accurate.

And btw the “HT 400” designation is just a typo - it should be “TH 400”
