F-18C, F-15A/J/Baz… and that’s not including the 13.0s.
F-18A is also pretty much an F-16A but with a better BVR loadout.
The F-16A’s flight model is just better than the F-18s and F-15’s
F-15A has the best F-15 fm, F-15J is worse
To reiterate: The only aircraft with better FMs than the F-16A are the Eurofighter, F-2A and Gripen
even if you don’t have Fox-1s, your fm can let you win fights against almost any other 12.3 plane and some 12.7 aircraft
It will absolutely nuke any 12.0 or lower plane in most engagements
The F-16A should not go down, rather, the br range from 12.0+ needs serious decompression, with a higher max br limit
F-16A at 11.7 would be game breakingly OP. The issue isn’t that 12.3 is a bad BR for the F-16A, it’s that top tier is very compressed and most 13.3’s deserve to be 13.7
Flankers are the worst offenders, consistently being the single best planes at their native BR
Best 13.0: Su-33/Su-27S by a long mile
Best 13.3 J-11A/Su-30MK2 by a long mile
Best 13.7: Su-27SM by a long mile
Best 14.0: Ironically, uptiered Su-27SM is still better than pretty much every 14.0
Best 14.3: Su-30SM
Best 14.7: Tied between Su-30SM2 and Rafale

I say Su-30SM2 is better than Rafale, just has a higher skill floor due to the worse FM and awareness

Yeah, Rafale is easier to play but Su-30SM2 has significantly more raw potential
Because it’s an F-16? Why should an F-16 with 6x AIM-9Ls be at a lower BR than a phantom just because said phantom has 7Fs?
It curb stomps all of these?
What? What are you trying to say here? That because the MiG-21 gets an engine upgrade it deserves to fight F-16 with 9Ls?
Also, F-16 in a downtier is extremely overpowered.

I kind of want to see this. Because it’s mean and funny.
Heavier (probably) due to backseater and has weaker engine. Also limited to 6 Sidewinders (Supposedly never had 9Ls. Most photos show it with either 9J or 9E even)
For comparison, F-16A with F100-PW-200 has combat T/W ratio 1.15
F-16/79 has combat T/W ratio of 0.81

This fighter (F-16A’s) is practically begging for a custom MM; instead of 1.0 +/- (11.3–13.3), it should be set to 0.7 (11.7–13.0), which would make it much more enjoyable to play, and planes set to 11.3 would be happy too :)
The best solution would be to compress the BR to ~15.3-15.7, but until then, an individual MM (0.7) for certain aircraft would be a decent solution in my opinion.

Calling for a matchmaking change is just allowing Gaijin to be lazy with balance. Its a horrible stopgap solution that gives Gaijin the opportunity to be lazy and delay much-needed balance changes.
