decompression is what we need
not bringing vehicles that are fine for their br down which literally creates more compression. Making the problems even worse
The issue with the 12.0-13.7 matchmaker is not the vehicles
it’s compression

it will also face mig23s , mirages , jaguars , phantoms , viggens not only mig21s , i know its a bit unfair for a mig21 but they have upgraded engines and airframes brs 11+ and the f16 is not thaaaaaaat op

bringing it lower in br is just stupid
Because the plane is fine, the issue is that it’s fighting vehicles that are a couple br steps too low in a compressed matchmaker

Keep in mind @Olecki1213 @whitestar , the F-16A blk 5 has the exact same flight performance and kit as the F-16A blk 10.
The F-16A Blk.10 is the 4th best duel plane, better than the Rafale

they have radar missles btw who even dogfights in high tier jets
11.0-12.0 still has plenty of situations where the better FM just lets you win
Not to mention, those early radar missiles at that br range are terrible

Even so, how good a vehicle’s airframe is matters a lot.
The F-16A block 5 has the third best flight model in the game in its entire br bracket, the only vehicles better are the gripen and F-2
As I pointed out above, we currently have one team with plenty near stock uptiered vehicles facing a team of downtiered spaded premium vehicles. And with the event F-16A, you are always in the former team. What do you expect?

I was honestly expecting the PW-200 [not 220], and AIM-9Ls at best considered.
This would be a far more interesting jet at 11.7 with AIM-9Ps than 12.3 with AIM-9Ls running an original engine.
i understand your concern about the older jets , and yes a 70s airframe with fly by wire is obviously better in every dogfight situation , the way war thunder is most battles will be with radar aams and infrareds who spams more and who evades more , surely there will be some instances of dogfighting but lets be honest 5 planes will gang up on you before you can make an actual dogfight
Because most people don’t last more than 5 minutes in a match
That’s 80% of the time a mistake on your part, not the plane
ESPECIALLY if you’re in an F-16
You just have bad positioning
