Your post is a good argument to increase crew health more than anything else.

What will Gaijin do next to ‘fix the exploit’?

I think it will be nerf on the general reward of RP/SL on both of ‘base reward’ and ‘reward multiplier’

Because it is their goal.

Oh! Destroyers are facing battle cruisers!
And destroyers are struggling to fight against them!
Because BB users are exploiting the repair mechanism!

What do we do now?
1- Decompressing hard and let DD not face BB
2- Ruin the damage control system and force BB to take damage from the HE fire of DD.

And Gaijin chose Second.

Such a horrible exploit exists in naval - SL modifiers! This terrible exploit needs to be removed as fast as possible.

Yeah, it is unfair that naval mode gets tons of SL from their gamemode while Air/Ground gets few!
It is our next goal to remove that horrible exploit!

Can we please get a repair priority for tanks? i am sick of my track gets repaired before or at the same time as the gun…

Except that game not rewarding you RP for damaging the target immediately, only when target dies, so if target didn’t die, no reward for you. So game rules itself striping players from deserved reward, forcing them to try to finish critically damaged ship or have no RP reward from that enemy, instead of switching target if they don’t know how to deal with current one. This change promote bad behavior of shelling the same spot on the target, instead of learning how to kill target more efficiently.

Besides that, damage from fires and ammo explosions not counted as damage from player who caused those conditions, leave all that accumulated damage to the player who made the last hit(of course that could be other player or bot) which also strips players from deserved rewards. Maybe you should focus on those - real problems of WT naval in reward distribution, not on this one, which was debunked by the community and contains bigger flaws that were discussed in community feedback treads, than “problem” of players using DC properly according the game situation.

I will repeat again that the problem with “too survivable” ships could be solved with different approach(and this was also discussed in feedback and players proposals treads on EN and RU forums). And we as community can wait a bit longer for those solutions(we had played 7 years with current mechanics and were content with it). But this current implementation is neither engaging, nor dynamic, not even closely fair in terms of realistic gameplay which WT tried to be, and will lead to opposite state of even more passive gameplay.

Gun used to be repaired in 8 Sec with ace crew. Now it depends on how many crew you have, had and lost + its longer in general.

Buddy i will be brief, if there was flat increase in repair times across the board, I doubt that there would be no evidence for it, such as changed datamined values etc.

Why not go further? Make main guns aim and fire automagically. Manual aim is unfair to the players who cant aim…
I know that thinking is not a virtue and War Thunder follows this idea by sinking (sic!) naval mode.
