Oh then please do enlighten us how we plebs should use the Spices for maximum potency.
I mean
The potency is definitely there due to how many you get
However, that potency is offset simply due to how much better and easier to use the Kh-38MT is
Well yeah of course you can theoreticall kill more with the Spices due to higher quantity but like you said quantity is not everything. If every enemy team was as passive as shown in the video then the best CAS would be an A10 just gunrunning everything lmao.
I kinda just wanted him to explain how to properly use Spices considering that he doesnt have a single plane that can carry them.
If you really want to minmax;
Spawn fast/light tank → Rush SP for plane → J out → spawn plane → check for AA → if none, free farm using top down strat
Ok sure but I feel like that part
Is a big if
Last time I tried it, Sufa was the only vehicle in the game with Spices, and it was kinda 50/50. Dunno about now as I haven’t played much CAS as of late.
Ive been playing the Aussie SEPv3 a lot lately for the event, as I’m working on spading it, and the spall isn’t noticeably worse than other tanks.
off the top of my head, SAMP/T (france + Italy) and Pantsir SM-SV all have radars that can search and track at 90°
Being a first AA spawner, the few Gripens trying it did not like meeting me very much
Pantsir is even more potent since it got those anti-spam missiles
SM-SV has 85, but any little hill will negate that problem p much
if you could even get into that position
yeah true
and staying in a cone of 85 in an aircraft is very difficult to achieve, specially as you go down
The V3 has the best turd chicks btw
If number of munitions is the single most defining aspect, then F-4s with FFARs win by large margin, after all they carry what, 285x of those?
Do you want to perhaps rethink your position?
I don’t notice a difference between Leopard 2 with or without spall liner. After community outrage, it had been indeed nerfed to a point its hardly noticeable. Thats why all top tier tanks play the same. There is somehow no real tech progression.
Telling someone to go for the breech when the Trunions make it really inconsistent bc the volumetric they have applied to them isn’t the play. Go for the breech if that’s your only real option… But it isn’t fool proof. You’re better off going for the above or below the breech option if you’re aiming for damage to the operation of the gun.
Don’t thin internal plates create more spall lol. The T-90 series has “external tanks” with 0 plating around it basically deleting spall. So the metal around the tanks being reduced from 19mm to 9mm is hilarious especially since Gaijin themselves admitted the Fuel bulkheads are missing armor in front, and above them… And isn’t it supposed to be 25.4mm not 9mm? The fuel tank bulkheads lost a lot of their effectiveness with the geometric and thickness reduction.
Yeah you skimmed the bottom of the hull wall. Thats why it did that.
Indirectly because thinner plate = more excess pen = more spall but that is not what i meant. I meant that if im not mistaken there are more plates (or the existing plates got larger/more elaborate) that can catch spall than there were before.
Well theoretically there is spall liner around them.
they also got 10mm thinner
despite the fact there was an accepted report to make them ~5mm thicker (so now they are less than half the thickness they should be), and are only covering the inside and rear of the fuel cells while they should cover all sides including front and above
so you are missing at lest 40mm of protection for any shot that goes through the fuel tanks
Well its an armor value on a non russian tank so that was kinda to be expected.
