The new Abrams is too OP

you do realize that the chart shows the 2A5 has a faster 0-30 and 0-top speed right?

Did some tests:

You’re correct that the 2A6 isn’t necessarily faster, but my point stands that hp/t ratio isn’t a great indication of mobility, because by that logic the T-80BVM should have a notable edge, which it doesn’t.

Very nice then, good to see that you and year’s previous statements were made it bad faith, thank you for confirming such.

DM53 is markedly superior to M829A3 as the latter does not change any notable breakpoints on the vehicles at it’s BR range, the only boon here is reload rate and such is already a massive cope.

The V3 does not have spall liners, this is markedly false unless you fall into the noob trap of taking hull ammo. Such is not indicative of it’s actual survivability.

ESS is useless, DM11 is superior to M1147 in function and operation and meets the same use case as M908, the only outlier is M830A1 which has been nerfed into irrelevancy.

On the side of the CROWS mount, having a .50 has been a non boon for god known how long now and as a reminder, that turret allows easier HE forehead shots, it is as much of a benefit as a issue in the current game.

I should also add as well that the V3 only retains 3 smoke charge launches, while the 2A7V sports 6 as the 2A7V launches only 2 grenades per discharge while the M1A2 series beyond the marine variants fire 4.

Raw grenade count means nothing if gaijin prevents you from using said grenades sparingly.

Both are very much so the same currently bar the M1 series still having a far more obvious neck shot trap.

It does. It can lolpen T-80Us and T-72B3s (somewhat) while DM53 technically cannot. DM53 absolutely does rip apart a T-80U but A3 simply does it better. Though in any case, you aim for weakspots. A3 is a better round regardless.

Reload rate is incredibly important, calling it cope is ignorant.

Lol

Pretty much the same but you shouldn’t take M1147 anyway, MPAT and M908 are better to carry.

M908 can pen BMPTs turret structure hull down and overpressure it, DM11 can’t. MPAT is still powerful and super nice to have as 2A7V lacks VT and tracking.

??? A .50 is 10x more useful than it is a negative???

Spall liners have been nerfed a ton, they aren’t demonic like they were on release. Hull ammo is absolutely necessary as 16 rounds is simply not enough at top tier. But you don’t live to fire more than a few so you wouldn’t get it.

20mm pen difference surely covers the 1 second reload difference.

Ok, now I see who we are dealing with. Good day to you sir. Lmao.

Not gonna bother answering further as you either not engaging in good faith or straight up loonatic with wild takes.

Explains the below 1:1 K/D in your M1’s…

Just because you don’t use it (like 99% of M1 players) doesn’t mean it isn’t a fantastic tool. One which the 2A7V doesn’t even have access to.

Then how am I one-tapping aircraft with it pretty reliably?

  1. cal can be used to de-track opponents, detonate BMPT’s missiles whilst behind complete cover yourself, shred light tanks like BMP’s, SPAA, etc.

Again, just because you’re not using these tools doesn’t mean they’re not an asset. This is just user error.

Also, why you even arguing in the first place when you’ve never played the Leopard 2A7V? (And you ignored my previous reply).

oh nooo its not a free kill anymore what a shame!!

It doesn’t, go in game, take 3OF26 and hover over that turret all you want, you won’t get an overpressure.

I would add more but forums is really weird about video uploading, it doesn’t work half the time.

Both rounds penetrate K-5 blocks at the same usable ranges, the only ranges where this changes is at extreme ranges. You can make the argument for better reliability against K5 tanks exclusively but such ignores the overall superior performance of DM53 out of the L55.

When there is a tangible variance at play, 5 seconds to 6 seconds is not even close to enough performance to single handily sway a vehicle’s performance like the angle you have been taking.

Always has been at top tier.

So there we go again, M908 is useful to kill a single tank and it’s doppelganger and that makes it worthwhile, nah a sabot does the job vastly better.

Neither tank has IRST, and once again, 830A1’s effectiveness has been thrown into the floor as it’s last changes, you are better off just direct impacting KA-52s with sabots since you tickle them otherwise.

If it does not make it easier for large caliber HE slingers to forehead you.

Does not matter, such is still present and thus effects damage, to that same end the additional hull spall generation walls that exist in the M1s negate any fuel protection benefits they may have.

Wow, admitting to falling into a noob trap, didn’t take someone as high and mighty as yourself as one of the many who whine about a easily fixable issue.

Does if you enjoy having better post pen effects and general angle performance.

Goodbye then I didn’t expect you to have a argument to begin with, just like the others.

Quoting this since you forgot text.

  • shoots down missile that can be shot down easily with coax or the commander MG3 on the 2A7V

  • dies

That is sure a grand example of the usefulness of the crows.

Ah yes 3OF26 is totally the only round that is usable in a situation like this.

Now you got my attention, name a more powerfull HE round than 3OF26 from that BR that would overpressure the Abrams in the .50 turret.

Hmmm yes, shells are the only thing that explode at top tier.

Congrats, you played yourself

There are only HE shells in the game? Thats news to me.

Barrel launched ATMGs also not gonna overpressure there. Keep moving goalpost.

1s faster reload + better capabilities against K5 (and inferior) ERA is much more practical than a little more pen
Not to mention the superior bustle that the Abrams sports with more ammunition + better survivability since all the ammunition is stored with an ammo rack, while leopard only carries 15 in the turret and stores the rest in the hull
