I quite struggle to understand how an aircraft with mediocre FM and 4 rear aspect IR missiles is the same br as the F-4E and MiG-21Bis, 0.3 BR higher than the Su-17M4 and 0.6 BR higher than the MiG-23M (Not even going to mention premium jets at this br and how they compare)
Getting kills is a struggle and the only thing it has going for it are the ahistorical countermeasure pods that were never (to my knowledge) mounted on the F-1CG
AIM-9P-5 would be nice to have since while it is an IRCCM missile, it doesn’t have the pull or range of missiles like the R-73 (which is at 11.0 btw)
