On vehicles like the Strv 122, Leopard 2A7V, and Merkava Mk.4, they seem to do little more than add extra weight to the hull.

they are just kinda there yeah. ig just another rp waste.

Anyway, I took it off. It doesn’t seem to do much, and it’s way too heavy.

There are some that curve up the LFP enough that they might be occasionally useful (like on the Merkava), but even then I doubt the tiny amount of extra protection is worth the weight, 3 tons for an extra 40mm on some of the LFP isn’t a great trade.

for modifications there is no such thing, to fully spade a vehicle its the same cost of RP per rank of modifications no matter how many there are so having more, even useless modifications just means you can ignore them and get the actually useful stuff quicker because on a vehicle with more modifications each one is individually cheaper
