The problem with “Unrealistic” drag of Rafale is because Typhoon didn’t have it, and instead got denied as the meme “Marketing Lie”.

Except that in the backstage all the reports for this buff are made and structured and even upgraded with fresh sources for over a year now so it only make sense to make dev server threads to ask for the buff to be actionned. And if you were smarter it’s not a complain thread it’s a thread made to require something in reaction to the addition of another thing i don’t see where it is complaint. Some people like me do complain i agree but don’t go making this thread look for what it isn’t re-read the first message no sign of complaint there.

I made a thread under the dev server category just now on how Gaijin can just fix the performance of the PL-12, and not have to add PL-12A.

Was about to ping you with this. The addition of this weapon’s just created a mess. Should have been stuck to the F18s and no one would have had issues. Now there’s going to be issues that it’s arguably wrong, yet still a far sight better than the kit of folk without it.

Yeah I had no problem with F-18s getting AIM-120C, I have never considered them a serious threat in an air RB match, and instead a small annoyance, but the F-15E/Is were also getting them and also now the Eurofighter.

If it was limited to F18s, it wouldn’t really matter to have MICA (or other missiles) improved on account of the F18s being able to provide sod all additional launch energy. But it coming to platforms like EFT and the F15s warrant MICA being brought up to par. It is a medium range missile with dogfight capability by design, it is a travesty that the competitor come in and MICA still be limited to a short range dogfight missile if you want it to connect with a target.
Would also note the argument that range doesn’t matter which has been used to say long range missiles are worse off would mean that MICA receiving an improved range should not be as problematic as people are crying over, if their logic were consistent.

It’s a reactionary thread because you guys are complaining that the MICA will be outclassed when the C-5 is added. Completely ignoring that maybe, just maybe the game isn’t ready for this so called unnerfed MICA.

We shouldn’t have problems with reactionary threads if there’s good and compelling arguments.
That might have been valid for the previous C5, now the reworked is just an 120A/B w less drag and a slightly extended motor, with the same maneuverability and ease to be notched.
Well, this turns out to be true. Moreso considering that 120C5 won’t be as threatening + they’re already eating decently with the offbore MEM slinging.

doesnt actually have a sustainer, just a longer burning motor, it has a slightly higher total impulse but peak thrust is 33% lower than 120A hence 120A actually hitting before 120C at close to medium ranges

Yeah its more of a 120A+(ish) now. Though its pretty embarrassing seeing french mains complaining they might have competition now and that would somehow be unfair

Rafale is just OP at this point, if he didn’t had all those stupid buff it got, especially engine power, I would have been fine with it getting a buffed MICA.
Not to mention MICA seeker got buffer because why not… never heard one of them complain about it

I dont really wanna comment on the Rafale FM, since im pretty sure the current situation is more that competitor aircrafts are underperforming rather than the Rafale is overperforming, but the thread asking for pre-emptive buffs to a jet that in its current state should arguably be 2-3 BR steps higher than it currently is is just stupid.
As it currently stands, the 120C-5 is unlikely to change much at all most likely, seemingly being a very marginal improvement in performance of long range shots. I doubt the Rafales performance in-game is gonna be dented in any way by the introduction of the 120C-5 in its current state, and it will most likely actually perform even better following the update due to the buff to the MICA.
