The ME 163 fuel quantity and rate of climb are incorrect

Affects the respective planes: Me 163B-0/1

The Me 163 should have a fuel quantity of 7.5 minutes and rate of climb is 81 m/s , while the current version of the game shows a fuel quantityl of 3 minutes with a rate of climb is 37m/s. This is clearly inconsistent with the current in-game aircraft stats.

Just because it can have powered flight for 7 and a half minutes does not mean it is doing 100% throttle during those 7.5 minutes.

Also stat card climb rate does not reflect the actual climb rate. It’s dumb but that is how it is in WarThunder.

Also also, what you’ve posted aren’t sources.

this was in game a while ago but it was to op so they nerfed it But then they Add the BI as a even which should have a weaker engine but doesnt Because russian bias at a lower br

Thanks for admitting Russian bias doesn’t exist.
BI has a worse engine and less fuel.

The BI is also incredibly undertiered, and it doesn’t need to use full throttle to get decent performance.

Neither aircraft does.
BI has 2/3rds the top speed of He 163, BI can also “shock stall” as one of if not the only aircraft in WT capable of doing so.

However, according to the issue infos in the previous report, it is the specific hedge/fuel flow of the Me 163 at 100% thrust that should be changed and its fuel flow at different thrusts instead of the fuel quantity of the Me 163

which is why they increased the fuel flow at 100%, meaning the engine consumes fuel faster and therefore the same amount of fuel takes less time to go through. The fuel quantity itself has been completely unchanged and has remained the same.

Another thing is that the fuel consumption went up only at 100% thrust. It has actually gone down with other throttle values.

But for the same br, the BL has a fastet speed, which is undoubtedly very powerful for the same br aircraft, and the me-163 faces most of the aircraft flying at subsonic speeds, and its rocket engine advantage is minimal. In addition, the BL can rely on its lightweight body to maintain long-term high-speed movement after gaining high speed, which is also something that the me 163 cannot do.

After the changes, the Me-163s definitely deserve some sort of other buff. They need to be at 100% throttle in order to not have bad performance, especially the 8.7 variants. Either move all to 7.7, or move them all to 8.0 and give them an airspawn.

Meanwhile, the BI at 6.7 outperforms and outruns anything with much less throttle. It’s just incredibly undertiered.

Fastest speed? Not really. Fastest acceleration with full throttle? Definitely.
Cause there’s P51H5NA, He 162, Kikka, Su-9, and A21R that are at least as-fast in top speed around that BR, just slower to accelerate at full throttle.

As for the claim that 163s need 100% throttle @Ion_Protogen
Energy retention at 70%: Over 6 minutes of fuel after takeoff.

About average for 8.0, with the worse guns of course.

BTW BI with 6 minutes fuel time doesn’t even match P51H5NA’s energy retention.

And none of those will be able to touch a BI, because they take forever to reach their top speed. Maybe in a dive they could, but why would a BI do that when they can just run away with vastly superior acceleration.

But with 70% throttle, you won’t be very fast, and you won’t be able to fight as well. It’s even worse for the 8.7 models.

Personally, I just want Gaijin to buff the Me-163s in some other way, because nerfing an already average plane and not adjusting it’s Br (especially for the overtiered 8.7 versions). It’s a wonderful way to outright kill a plane.

I rather have them move down and the me263 added for a replacement how they where before the patch. The me263 had more fuel and landing gear.

I’d rather give them an interceptor spawn since that removes their biggest use of fuel (taking off and gaining speed).

Right now they’re just kinda sad. 8.0 sees full uptiers almost all the time, so good like facing Mig-17s in one.

That does sound like a good addition.

And I agree with what you say

Fully agree.

I managed to kill 2 of them recently with the 6.7 Me 262 A-2a with the only strategy that reliably works:
Keep an eye on them but stay below contrail at and outside spotting ranges, wait for their first 2 kills and try to predict (gamble) when they are out off ammo in order to catch them when landing on their forward airfield.

Their damage model is somehow strange too - i scored a direct hit on a landed and stationary BI with the 6.3 Me 262 A-1a/U4 whilst using the pure (without tracers) 50 mm HE belt - and the game rewarded me with just a crit…fantastic…

yes, this is the only way to kill the bl
