The maneuverability of the Israeli Derby missile should be 50G,not the 40G depicted in the game

The Israeli"Derby"air-to-air missile is an advanced medium-range air-to-air missile with various combat capabilities and excellent performance characteristics. Here are its main performance features:

• Basic Parameters

• Type:Medium-range air-to-air missile(Extended Range version is a long-range air-to-air missile).

• Manufacturer:Rafael Advanced Defense Systems.

• Length:3.62 meters.

• Diameter:160 millimeters.

• Wingspan:640 millimeters.

• Weight:118 kilograms.

• Maximum Range:

• Basic Model:Approximately 60-65 kilometers.

• Extended Range(I-Derby ER):Over 100 kilometers.

• Flight Speed:Maximum speed can reach Mach 4.

• Maximum Maneuvering Load:50G.

• Guidance Methods

• Active Radar Guidance:The missile uses an advanced active radar seeker that can lock onto targets before launch or after launch.

• Inertial Navigation+Active Radar Terminal Guidance:The missile can switch to inertial navigation during flight, and switch to active radar guidance when approaching the target,achieving"fire-and-forget"capability.

• Data Link Support:The missile can receive correction commands from the aircraft’s radar via a data link to further optimize its flight path.

“The performance of the Derby missile in the game is far from having a 40G maneuverability, and it’s unbelievable that it can be dodged by the enemy’s maneuvering during a tail attack from 2 kilometers away. It’s not even as good as the Python 3 missile.I seriously suspect that the planners are deliberately discrediting Israel.”

And the source for 50G is?

ChatGPT :)

I know its a joke but the number of posts where they actually use GPT as a source is … alarming .

I heard someone say they got the info for the Type 99 having a laser rangefinder from Microsoft. They got it from Copilot.

he checks my writing and thats it as it fixes my dyslexia but does not write for me

Almost certainly given the format of the post.

it is, but looks like it was posted on some website and edited a bit

Those AI checkers are as much nonsense as using AI as a source is.

welp, mostly they can help with marking that text is AI generated

“Actually,I’m using DeepSeek.”

Not really, i’ve put my own texts in there as a test and it told me that my personal 100% original text was 80% AI …
The opposite has also occurred, i asked Chat GPT for a small text on something and tested a few checkers and got like 30-60% AI. many even changed percentages when fed the same text multiple times lol…

It’s pretty accurate when they make 2000 word long posts with AI though, the bigger the sample the better

Depends, i can easily make a long AI text that gets very low AI score on the checkers with just a few adjusting prompts. Sure if you just take it as is without adjusting most might catch it.

Edit:
Example, took me one extra prompt to adapt the pre-made AI text:

off topic though, if interested further you can send me a PM :)

Oh god

I don’t think it was ever said by Rafael how much G’s a Derby can pull (I could be mistaken tho). It should not have the same overload as a P4/5 (without dual plane) as it doesn’t have the same structure as them, aside from the back fin, which remains the same, but do take this with a grain of salt.

From what I’ve seen and read, and despite the inaccurate and poorly put together main post, this might actually somewhat be true.
However, it would only be true in the case of dual plane G-pull. Single plane it should be 40Gs, and dual plane it would likely be more, possibly around 50Gs. Since we don’t have dual plane pull ingame yet, it will remain at 40Gs for the time being, and a lack of sources on the dual plane capabilities of this missile will be a detriment in getting gaijin to alter this missiles parameters should dual plane become a thing available for AAMs in the future.

Hopefully we get dual plane in the future, as I would love to have my 70G Python 4/5s in the future.
