all it is, is a short sherman, yet its a full BR higher than the M4A2 76W. I play it, i do well in it. but only being 1 step behind all the heavies at 6.7 or MBT’s at 7.0 or 7.3 with a 76mm. it can be rough
a short Sherman
oh yea fixing the shermans mobility issues with no drawback is just a “short Sherman” lol
Not sure what this thread has devolved into but I have no idea why people are saying it’s 6.7 material when it’s clearly not. But it is also not 6.3 material as it’ll be extremely good. It’s in a limbo right now and the only way to fix it is to expand the max BR and then recalculate the BR of the tanks in that bracket. What we should not do is raise the BRs (without decompression) of tanks at 6.7 because then it’ll make those tanks struggle and we’ll see another post just like this talking about how ___ tank should be at a lower br.
@kcns I think everyone here is talking about how it performs in GRB not GAB. I find it ironic, when you tell people to “get gud” when all you play is arcade which is hand-holdy to say the say the least.
- more people play GAB than GRB
- GAB is a much more accurate measure of tank performance than GRB since its always mixed battles and you cant kneecapped by having to deal with X nation mains
- GRB is the most handheld mode in the game basically boiling down to cas simulator lmfao. at least you have to actually get kills in AB to call in airstrikes
Wait is that why he says the 90 mm can go through a Panther UFP at 500 meters? Because the pen indicator has been broken for a very long time now and it can show “green” even when in reality it non-pens.
Case in point:

Lets just ask to see if people are talking about it’s performance in GRB or GAB. Almost everyone in the forums always talk in the context of Realistic as it best captures the vehicle’s performance but I could be wrong for this thread.
- GRB
- GAB
GAB is not accurate because there are features that actively assist in boosting your vehicles performance. Spotting, lead indicator, gun handling and mobility are some of the things I can name off the top of my head. It is no where near as accurate when it comes to getting a measure of a vehicle’s performance. For example, it’s the same reason why the hellcat is at BR 5.3 in GAB when in GRB it’s 6.0. Arcade take’s turns the biggest strength of the hellcat into it’s weakness.
Not sure if you’re being serious or not, low-mid tiers. there is a cas problem but it’s not as big as you make it to be in this bracket. CAS in that BR won’t win you battles.
Well you must’ve pulled it out of somewhere because no actual testing of these rounds agrees with any of the statements you made.
I said that T33 can’t penetrate the Panther UFP reliably past 100 meters because I’ve tested it. I said that Pzgr.39/42 can penetrate the M26 UFP at the same ranges as T33 can penetrate the Panther UFP because I’ve tested it.
m26 vs panther is the same fight in GAB and GRB. GAB is inherently faster paced and actually takes more skill to play than GRB lol cope more :)
worse turret, reverse speed, and gun derpression.
I hadn’t even considered that this was possibly a GAB discussion. I’ve updated the title of this thread to reflect that I think this change is primarily referring to GRB.
I haven’t even mentioned the panther in my previous responses.
Ah yes, because a game mode that resembles COD takes more skill than a game mode the requires map knowledge, positioning, knowing weakspots, aiming and many more…
Just say that you have fun in GAB, no one is going to judge you for it. No need to gaslight yourself and others into thinking that GAB requires more skill so that you can feel validated.
requires map knowledge, positioning, knowing weakspots, aiming and many more
many more being? all of those apply in GAB except you have to respond faster

sorry to tell you this but you and the average GRB purist are the only still gaslighting yourselves into thinking ‘realistic’ battles require more skill lmao
They don’t. Take all skill I mentioned and crank them down by a hundred. Positioning and Map knowledge become nearly useless as all enemies know where you are. Aiming becomes second nature because it’s always a guarantee that you will hit the spot you aimed at. And looking for weak spots becomes significantly more easier.
Some other skills are spotting, SP management, the actual use of spaa, and combined arms.
which is rich coming from you. The highest GRB battle count you have in a tank is 19…
Anyways, this thread is talking about it’s BR in GRB so unless you have experience in that game mode, feel free to pitch in :)
